Beautifully decorated one bedroom cottage, cute, cosy and located just a 5-minute walk into the historical market town of Kendal, The Gateway to the Lakes.. Ground Floor:

Parking permit for 1 car included. No smoking.. This detached, cosy cottage is ideal for couples looking for a fantastic base to enjoy the delights of Kendal and The Lake District National Park. Christill Cottage offers a welcoming environment with compact living space, but is very well equipped with everything you’ll need for a relaxed and memorable stay.
The ground floor features an open plan living space with a kitchen that is well equipped. The living room with exposed stone fireplace with wood burner provides a focal point for the room and offers a romantic setting, perfect for relaxing on the sofa with a glass of wine after a day of shopping and sightseeing.
Upstairs you’ll find the bedroom with storage and hanging space for your clothes and an en-suite bathroom with bath and electric shower.
Outside there is a small enclosed patio area big enough to store bikes or let you dog out for a little sniff around.
Once you arrive you can leave the car behind to make the most of your prime location. Christill Cottage is only a 5-minute walk into Kendal town centre, with the nearest pub only 50 yards away and another 100 yards away offering a selection of beers and craft ales and has won many awards in recent years.
Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with a number of independent retailers, coffee shops, cafés, deli’s, bars and restaurants. With a weekly outdoor market selling anything from local crafts to clothing as well as a permanent indoor market open daily, you’ll find plenty on your doorstep to fill your days.
Kendal museum dating back to 1796 and is only a 10 minute walk, and Abbott Hall is ideal for Art lovers just 15 minutes away on foot. Situated only drive 10 minutes from the M6, Kendal is known as The Gateway to the Lakes. In just 15 minutes by car, you’ll reach Windermere, Bowness-on Windermere and in 20 minutes, Ambleside.
