Summary:
Welcome to our stunning Townhouse located in the lavish Gold Coast of Chicago—one of the most sought-after locations in the city!

Located on one of Chicago’s famous streets, you’ll be a 5-minute walk from the historic Gold Coast beach and intimate views of Lake Michigan.

The property is also within walking distance of the subway, where you can connect to the L trains, and the Magnificent Mile. It is the perfect place to stay for adventurous travellers and those who fancy a beach in the City!

The Space:
A beautiful home nestled nicely amongst greenery. Upon stepping into this 4-bedroom townhouse, you’ll be struck by the vast size and traditional decor combined with modern chic.

There is a large reception room as you enter; it’s a perfect spot for an afternoon read or seeking peaceful refuge should you not want to watch TV in the sitting room.

You'll also find a fully equipped dining room and kitchen fit for amateur chefs and foodies alike. Going up the stairs takes you into a lounge with comfy sofas and a fireplace—perfect for chilly and windy Chicago winters!

Our Chicago Townhouse is a holiday rental that becomes a home—you won't want to leave!

We have a small garage located at the back of the property that is usable for guests. It can comfortably accommodate a smaller-sized car (VW Golf or similar); however, it is not large enough to fit SUVs, minivans, trucks, or larger estate cars.

Garage measurements (note these are max allowances). are as follows:

Height: 5.5ft / 167 cm
Depth/length: 13 ft / 396cm

**Note: We are not liable for parking costs if your vehicle doesn't fit, or if you damage your vehicle getting in/out of our car park.

Other Things to Note:

Parties of any size are not allowed.

We may require a deposit for single-night bookings, last-minute reservations, and large booking groups. This can be retained for noise complaints, unauthorised parties, excessive uncleanliness, or damage beyond normal use.

Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise levels low after 10 pm. A security company may visit the property for excessive noise complaints, and you will be charged for their attendance.

The basement is a separate property and is available to book should you require it.

You could not ask for a better location if you want the city-feel. We loved it! Restaurants and shops are just walking distance away.The house is gorgeous. It's an updated home that was originally built in the 1890s. It's a classic.

The place was fantastic for our family get together. A real treat if you haven’t stayed in an 1880’s townhome before. Yet it’s updated and feels modern as well. Place was clean when we arrived, no issues. The location is among the action but also in its own quiet corner so you feel you can escape the city. Three floors means a lot of stairs, so if you’re mobility challenged keep that in mind. Our early model Toyota Camry fit the garage, but check the provided dimensions cause it really is tight. We were very thankful this home was available to rent cause it’s something we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. Hope to be back!

A slice of old-world Chicago with all the modern touches.

Can not say enough about how much my family has been raving about our stay at your incredible home. The location put us smack in the middle of everything we wanted to see and we ended up walking to everything (even with ages from 9 months to 70!). On that note, thank y'all for including so many touches to make it easier with the little one. From the high chair, to the pack-n-play with an extra mattress and cover, everything we needed was there. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful old Gold Coast Townhouse within walking distance of everything we needed. Spacious accommodations with a lovely large dining area and comfortable TV lounging area at back of house. Close to plenty of dining options and Lake Michigan. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding. Plenty of towels, coffee and tea. Comfy robes in every bedroom. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great alternative to a hotel for groups of 3 or more

small group of 3-4 coworkers in town for a McCormick Place product show - Second time renting this VRBO for such an occasion. Much less expensive than individual hotels and just a half block from Rush Street restaurants. This VRBO would also be great for families of four or more.
