Appletorre Apartments are self contained ensuite studios or flats situated on a quiet road, a 5 minute walk away from shops and pubs and 15 minutes walk to seafront and town centre, entertainments and Riviera Leisure Centre. Trains and buses are also just a short walk away and serve all major areas of the South West. The property is child friendly for 10 years upwards and also pet friendly (by prior arrangement at 10 pounds sterling per stay payable on arrival)
Each flat is fully equipped with large smart TVs, kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, air frier, kettle, coffee machine and all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk and bottled water as well as biscuits and mints are provided as part of the welcome pack. Kitchens have kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel, J cloth and sponge. Bathrooms have tissues, toilet rolls, liquid soap and toiletries. Bedrooms have a hairdrier, clothes airer, electric fan and alarm clock.
Books and games are available in the main hall. Free WIFI is available throughout. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Rooms are serviced every four days. Communal laundry facilities are available with washers, tumble driers and ironing facilities. Wall mounted automatic electric heaters are supplied in the rooms as well as electric blankets . There is free off road parking (one space per flat) and the large garden has been newly landscaped and offers outdoor seating, barbecue, water features and is illuminated by night. Flats 1,2,3,4,9 are ground floor, 5,6,7 first floor.
Check in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out is 11am. Keys are collected from Reception. Payment is made on arrival. The owner lives on site.

Very welcoming and comfortable stay
Andrea is so welcoming and always goes above and beyond to ensure we have everything we need. Rooms are very clean to a high standard ready for guest with added perks of drinks for all. You never need anything when you stay here. Highly recommend these apartments to anyone staying in the area

Brilliant apartment - everything you want and need!
We stayed for 2 nights in flat 7, which had a lovely view over the beautiful communal gardens. Lots to do in the immediate area - we could have happily stayed for much longer.

We stayed at Appletore apartments for 3 nights we have been coming here for over 3yrs at least twice a year. Andrea is an amazing host we were made to feel that we were part of the family. Her hospitality is second to none nothing is to much trouble and what she does not know she will find out for you. The rooms are spacious clean and tastefully decorated. If your going yo visit Torquay I I can’t recommend this place enough 5star plus.

brilliant accommodation
we stayed from sat to tuesday as we had a dance competition and wanted to spend some time in torquay after too. we were really happy with this flat we stayed in, everything was really clean and well thought out and planned by the owners who were very helpful and friuendly

I, Andrea, purchased the property in September 2015 and undertook a full renovation programme gradually installing new bathrooms and kitchens, renewing all heating, lighting and furnishings, replacing all windows and floor coverings and carrying out a full redecoration. The garden was landscaped and external evening illuminations and water features were installed. This programme was finally completed in 2019 but remains an ongoing process to ensure standards are maintained.
My background is in hotel keeping and international commerce. I hail from Leeds most recently where I established a high quality commercial and domestic cleaning service and holiday home business. I am assisted at Appletorre Flats by Tony, my Maintenance Manager, who keeps the place running efficiently and Terri my loyal and hardworking Housekeeper who ensures the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. I am indebted to them both!!!
