It's like going back in time as not a tv in sight in the bar and where the owners , staff and locals are all so friendly with fantastic beers and wine.

Clean, cosy, comfortable with great food in pub

The family were booked in for Xmas. They were all warm and comfortable. We had boxing day lunch in the pub. Something for everyone on the menu freshly cooked and great value.Great service and friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you to Lucy for returning our granddaughter's ring which had been left in the accommodation.

Relaxing few days in a nice little cottage.

Very friendly staff and a excellent breakfast. Good location for the town. My only concern is the service charge for the evening meal. Apart from that it was all very good.

A great place to stay - food great and staff very friendly

We wanted somewhere to stay with a small dog - this was perfect as booked one of the small cottages - having own front door made this really easy. Also as a dog friendly pub, we had the option to eat there or walk into town. The staff were very professional but still friendly.

Happy just needed a few tweaks

Great duvets and pillows, clean bedroom and bathroom, great service at breakfast. Easy parking. Just the broken bed that needed fixing for the children on the day bed, the slats fell out so we couldn't use it and had to sleep on the floor.

Very large comfortable room at a decent price

We during a Christmas spent with family and everything worked very well. I'd definitely recommend getting a chalet at the back of the pub rather than staying in the pub itself as the rooms are smaller and noisier. Very spacious room with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Good breakfast too.
