Relaxing and enjoyable stay with lots of interesting places to visit.
The cottage is in a lovely location & very private. It was very clean and comfortable with everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. Lots of pubs, restaurants and lovely beaches to visit without having to drive too far. We really enjoyed our week there and would like to stay again if we decide upon another visit to the Wirral.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
The property was in a lovely village with a great coutryside aspect. It was a shame that the outside area was not as advertised, there was no outdoor settee, the decking was tatty and the cobbles were very uneven, the table and chaires were dirty and looked scruffy. The pictred welcome pack was missing just 2 biscuits, the cutlery was a mish mash of cheap items. Overall ok but not "Luxury "
Was a very lovely and private experience for our getaway.
There are shops just 8-9 min away, if you need supplies, but you still feel far away from everything. The manager was very communicative and answered all our questions. All the rules & procedures were clearly made out.
The jacuzzi was fantastic and ready to go. Even in somewhat cold weather, I'd highly recommend it.
The heating is very good and insulation is top notch if you're worried about the cold.
The place itself was spotless and has all the amenities you need for a weekend. Whether you want to eat in or go out, it's a great spot.
The only issues was the WiFi was a tad spotty and would cut out. The bathroom door didn't close properly, so it truly was a shared experience.
Overall, we really enjoyed it and it was exactly as advertised.

Anniversary weekend
Our 1st impression of the cottage, it was in a nice quiet location with electric gates to the drive. However on entering the courtyard to the cottage we were met by rattan furniture covered in silver gaffa tape as it was obviously damaged in some way, so not great!. On entering the cottage it was very well laid out and also very well equipped, with everything someone would need for a weekend or a whole week. There was a lovely Kithen / Living room with plenty of space and also a full Sky package. The bedroom was average but lovely, with an on-suite bathroom which was also very tastefully decorated. Out side in the private courtyard was a fantastic hottub which was heated to perfection and was also very clean. Sadly we do have a few negatives for the cottage, the cottage was dusty in the living / Kitchen are with a few cobwebs around. The fridge could do with replacing as it was not very cold, with water on the shelves, the freezer had one drawer front missing and another taped up with silver gaffa tape, which is not something you want to see. And lastly the hottub maintenance every morning between 7-8am was not really necessary as the hottub is directly outside the bedroom window, and we were disturbed by this every morning. We would definitely return to Westmead cottage but things do need addressing.
