Far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city but not isolated, the location of this property allows for relaxation and also easy commuting. The villa has 3 floors, where the terrace stands out—perfect for meals with a barbecue and catching some vitamin D while watching the Atlantic Ocean. With two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, this property has a maximum capacity to host 6 people, making use of the sofa bed in the living room. Enjoy the terrace and the sun on the south side of our island, visit one of the nearby beaches, and enjoy Caniço and Madeira.
AREA From here you can go anywhere on the island, thanks to the proximity of the highway access, which allows you to move quickly to points of interest. Near the apartment, there is a restaurant and snack-bars. A five-minute drive away is the center of Caniço, where you have access to pharmacies, bars, restaurants, a hypermarket, and a medium-sized shopping center. If you wish to find other types of places or activities, the city of Funchal is 15 minutes away by car.
HOW TO GET TO The best option to reach the apartment is by transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners—it is cheaper than the cabs you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation application will easily find the address. There is a bus stop 5 minutes’ walk from the villa.
ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property.
INTERACTION We are always available for help or questions. We will do our best to accommodate all requests. We also have a guest application with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay.
OTHER REMARKS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid identification document (e.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If not booked within a maximum of 48 hours, guests will be subject to our staff's availability. - All bed linens and towels are provided. We can also place a crib, high chair, and baby bathtub if needed. There is a first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and fire blanket at all properties.
ATTENTION We inform you that a Municipal Tourist Ecotax will be charged for each person staying overnight in the municipality of Santa Cruz. All guests staying in tourist developments and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights’ stay (€14 per person). Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee.
HOUSE RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. • Parties or events are not permitted. • We ask that you be considerate of the neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, you may receive a message from our team asking you to check the situation.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration.
A municipal tourist tax may be charged (€2 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 nights).
Check-in: from 4 pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and payment of a fee. Check-out: by 12:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and payment of a fee.

Eine super Unterkunft. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Nur die Badezimmer haben nach alten Abfluss gerochen, aber dort hält man sich ja nicht lange auf. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.
Zu beachten ist, dass das Appartement sich auf drei Etagen verteilt. Es gibt in jeder Etage einen Balkon bzw. Terrasse. Gute Ausstattung, zwei Parkplätze gehören dazu: Einer vor der Tür, einer im Parkhaus.
Die Aussicht ist sehr schön.

Ruhiges Haus
Der Aufenthalt gestaltete sich sehr ruhig und ohne Probleme. Wer lieber ein bisschen mehr Leben und Grübel haben möchte, sollte sich allerdings eine andere Wohnung suchen. Wer die Ruhe und den Blick aufs Meer sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Einzig und allein die ganzen Hunde in der Nachbarschaft sind zu hören. Außerdem kann man gut die Flugzeuge bei ihrem Landeanflug beobachten.

Wir haben die Zeit in Canico sehr genossen. Der Ausblick vom Balkon ist traumhaft. Empfehlenswert ist ein Auto, denn von dort kann man alle schönen Ecken der Insel gut erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist sehr gut. Ich kann dieses sehr gut weiter empfehlen

Excellent stay
We stayed for a month. It is a very spacious & clean house. It has all you need! Comfort. We stayed with the 3 of us (couple & brother) and could easily find some ''me-time'' in the house as well. We also loved the terrace and had some nice BBQ nights up there! We had a car, that made it very easy since the surrounding can be tuff to walk (steep hills) but lot of things in walking distance.
