Beautiful area!

Beautiful room, great area! Convenient to Chester yet surrounded by beautiful countryside. Great pubs/places to eat in the area. Friendly hosts.

Wonderful rural setting is just minutes away from Rossett and its facilities. Our host went out of her way to make sure we lacked for nothing.

Stay at Oak Mead

Oak Mead is situated in beautiful countryside. It is very quiet and peaceful. The studio is exactly like the listing and is close to nearby attractions. Enjoyed chatting to Meena and her son about their time on the Sunshine Coast.

Lovely Place and Location

This property was lovely and owner was super friendly and welcoming! The room is attached to main house so you can hear activity. However, we had a lovely stay. Other rentals on grounds and the would certainly go back.

Beautiful

We were very impressed with our stay. The location next to a sheep farm was beautiful as well as the room was perfect. The room included a sitting area. The bed was comfortable. The people were nice and helpful. We would stay there again. Loved it!

A perfect little find

A lovely room with everything we needed. Greeted by Tom on arrival who was really professional. Ideal location for us as we have elderly relatives in Chester. We visit the area about 3 or 4 times a year and now we have found Oak Mead will certainly book in again. Highly recommended.

Stunning property in beautiful, tranquil surroundings

Oak Mead's ground floor room was just perfect for the two of us and our dog Ruby. The bed was extremely comfortable, the wet room was great with plenty of hot water The entire property was very clean and comfortable. It was handy to have a microwave, kettle and toaster also plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and a bottle opener. There is an iron and mini ironing board plus a hairdryer. The view was simply wonderful with the 2 adorable horses in the field at the bottom of the garden. Ruby loved to play with one of Menna's dogs! We loved everything about this propery and will definitely book next year as you need more than a day in Chester which we thoroughly enjoyed! Visited the Cathedral and had a drink in Ye Olde Kings Head which we understand is haunted by as many as 13 ghosts! Many thanks to Menna and Tom for welcoming us into your gem of a propery

Schöner Urlaub auf einen tollen Hof

Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet Möglichkeiten sich Frühstück und kleine Snacks zu machen. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett. Der Ausblick war ein Traum! Kleiner Negativ Punkt war die Dusche, es kam kaum Wasser aus der Dusche und durch fehlen einer Trennwand oder dergleichen war danach immer das ganze Badezimmer nass. Aber sonst gibt es nur positives zu berichten!
