This 140 sq.m luxury, stone-built villa is decorated with respect to the traditional architecture of Mani. Thick walls, high ceilings, iron, marble, combined in complete harmony, create an atmospheric environment for our guests. The villa expands on 3 levels.
MAIN LEVEL:
consists of a spacious living with fireplace, Satellite LCD TV, DVD/CD players, dining, fully equipped kitchen all in an open plan area with access to large, fully furnished veranda with panoramic sea views. On the same floor, there is a double bedroom with its bathroom.
UPPER LEVEL:
internal comfortable stairs connect the Main with the Upper level and lead up to a second double bedroom with shower room en suite. Access to side balcony with mountain & sea views.
POOL LEVEL:
external staircase connects the Main with the Pool level which consists of a 40 sq.m guest room with two single beds, Satellite LCD TV, fully equipped kitchenette & bathroom. Access to large veranda & pool terrace with sunbeds, umbrella and BBQ.

Excellent property with stunning views

The villa has very good accommodation with generous rooms, air conditioning throughout, and is well equipped. The garden and pool are excellent with stunning views along the coast and out to sea. We enjoyed many an evening watching the sunset from the terrace!

Peaceful, cool, tranquil villa with outstanding views

We had a superb stay in Villa Sofia. It is exceptionally spacious - ideal for three couples due to the private bedrooms separated from each other in the villa. The space works very well. The air conditioning works exceptionally well (not something we have ever found guaranteed) - the pool, villa and linen is changed and cleaned very frequently. Just the right distance from busy Stoupa and beautiful Agios - perfect village location.

Beautiful villa with fantastic views and very short drives to many lovely beaches and tavernas

The villa worked very well for our family of adults as there was a lot of space. It could also work well for guests of different families as it has a completely separate studio. I liked the small but useful things like, drying racks and pegs on each level. Tip for a day out ,Stenosia waterfalls, it's about 1 1/2 to 2 hours drive and don't go when the ground is wet as it can be very slippery but you can swim in the pools below the waterfalls and there are beautiful walks. Thank you for our stay in your lovely villa, we will always remember it. Pam

echt een tophuis

helemaal gewldig. Huis was precies zoals afgebeeld en omschreven. UItzicht op zee was waanzinnig. Rustig gelegen dus geen muziek of andere omgevings geluiden. Alleen de krekels end die je hoory. Mooi zwembad, 2 daagse schoonmaak. groot en schoon huis. echt aanrader.

Stunning view, nice house, but bad internet

We stayed one week in this house during our vacation with three adults. The view from the terrace is wonderful, you can see the sea and the whole village, it could not be better. While the kitchen is quite well equipped (a very good orange juice squeezer for example), the apartment was a bit narrow in parts and only a few seats were available in the living area. However, there was another apartment available downstairs (we were allowed to use both, but mainly used the upper one). The pool is also very nice and comfortable. A major criticism is that the internet is very slow and unstable, and signal even in the living area is not good. The water pressure of the showers is very fluctuating and it takes a long time until the warm water is available. The house is very nice overall, with lots of natural stone. Many mosquito screens make it easier to air the house and sleep with the window open. Altogether we felt quite well.

Quiet & spacious home with heavenly sea views.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Sofia, and felt very much at home. The living space and terrace are large, open and perfect for cooking and dining -- and the sunsets are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. There's lots of privacy between the three double rooms, and noise is not an issue (we had a 1yr old with us!) This made our holiday even more relaxing. Jacinthe, who manages the property, was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend the beaches & tavernas nearby, and the Diros caves too. There are good mosquito screens for high season and air conditioning. A very good place to stay for six people. It was a joy to spend time there. (For future guests, a basic baby high chair would be a very helpful addition).

Notre séjour à la villa Sofia s'est parfaitement bien passé ! Nous avons loué la maison et le studio pour notre grand fils. Et c'était des vacances de rêve. La piscine avec sa vue incroyable est très agréable à toutes les heures de la journée. La maison est très propre, très bien équipée, les lits sont très bons et la climatisation marche très bien... Bref, nous recommandons fortement !!!!

Beautiful Villa

We stayed in Villa Sofia one of the 3 villas located up the hill above Stoupa. The Villa is perfect, with amazing sun sets and views across the sea. The location was great for exploring the Mani and it was possible to drive further afield to places such as Olympia and ancient Messene, all accessable in a day using the good roads in the area.. The villa itself is well equiped and cleaned regularly. It has beautiful gardens, a reasonable sized pool ( cleaned daily) and offers privacy from the next door villa with good hedge screening. The resort of Stoupa is perfect for families or couples with many places to eat and drink and 2 lovely beaches. A great place to stay and explore the Peloponnese. The owner was extremely helpful too and offered many suggestions for places to visit.
