Montenegro Superbly Located Family Vila With Game Room & Pool

Ideally situated just a short walk from Carvoeiro, this five-bedroom family villa offers spacious accommodation over two levels. On entrance there is a large open plan lounge and dining area with air conditioning and with patio doors to the garden and private heated (extra cost) swimming pool. There is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom and a twin bedroom with en suite shower room, both bedrooms offer air conditioning.



The fully fitted kitchen has a door leading to BBQ and external dining area.

Stairs to the lower level lead to a further kitchenette area, a double bedroom with shower room, a further twin bedroom with en suite bathroom. There is a small lounge area for relaxation. Just a few steps lead to a games room complete with ping pong table and pool table. From this area there is a further twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and mezzanine level with two more single beds ideal for older children. This bedroom and the games room feature air conditioning

The garden is made up of pathways with fruit trees and there is ample parking on the private gated driveway. The villa is perfect for family groups as you do not need to rely on a car, everything is within a short walk.

The villa was wonderful. 2 desperate living areas l, both with fully fitted kitchen areas. All bedrooms had enough suite bathrooms. Local facilities were only 10 minutes away with fabulous shops and eating/drinking venues. Local fresh produce was absolute amazing. Overall an amazing first experience of Portugal, will be visiting again. Villa was in need of a little tlc, which I assume will be carried out out of season.

The location and size are really good.Very comfortable areas to relax and enjoy the sun and shade.The pool was lovely to relax and cool down. The accommodation needs updating as it's looking a bit tired in places.The downstairs bathrooms are in need of a refurbishment.The pool has some tiles missing too.

Spaciousness of the property on different levels with each bedroom en suite. Pool, games room, BBQ. Well equipped kitchen. Within walking distance of the beach and town with a good variety of restaurants . Very friendly and helpful cleaning staff. Would have given 5 stars but the property would benefit from refreshing in some areas. There was a missing bathroom door, apparently broken by the previous occupants - hopefully now replaced. Nonetheless a highly recommended place to holiday.

Very spacious accommodation throughout with 5 en suite bathrooms. Games room was a wonderful bonus in the property. So easy to book and enter the property due to Elite Rentals that are exceptional good The property needs a kick of paint outside and a few diy jobs around the place but nothing detracted from it being a superb stay and I will certainly book this property again. Elite Rentals just need to keep making everything so easy as I cannot see how their service could be bettered

A good holiday was had by all

We loved the amount of space this villa offers and the pool was fantastic. It is nice that all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. It’s just a short walk to the town and beach. The plumbing needs to be looked at there was a very bad smell in the upstairs bedrooms after it rained. Two of the downstairs bedrooms had showers that leaked and left a puddle on the floor. Generally decor and furnishings could be improved.

The property and space was large and perfect for the whole family , the children ( and adults loved the pool). Very well equipped and nothing that was needed, without being too fussy , with young children we did not feel like we were walking on egg shells. A perfect environment for a 3 and 9 year old as well as out older family members who could relax and find a quiet area if needed. Being met by one of the team at elite rentals once we had settled in , this was very nice and reassuring although we did not need to ask for anything. The maid service was very good , they work so hard in keeping such a big property clean and maintained. Very lovely people. All of this made our holiday comfortable and a time of good memories.

Great location but a tired property

We arrived Christmas day and were greated with a smell of sewage that lasted our first three days. We were told not to flush toilet paper, we complied but there was still a terrible smell. We paid extra for a heated pool. The pool never heated, someone came after 3 day and told us we needed to cover the pool. When pulling the cover over the pool the plastic cover came apart in our hands. We swam in the pool for 1 minute, once and were charged 200euro, a very expensive swim. Overall the property is large and can accommodate a large group well. Pool table was a nice extra and the location is great. I would advise against paying anything for the pool and get ready for a bit of a stink, we used candles to help mitigate the smell.

Close to town

Large villa close to local town and beach.. This villa has something for all ages, the pool is gated which is great if you have little children, a games room with table tennis and pool table, somewhere to come together when the suns gone down. The games rooms had a couple of very minor issues with pool cues being well used but this didn’t detract from the fun of a family get together . 2 BBQ’s, one on the roof terrace, plenty of sun beds and Pool/beach towels provided. All the home from home comforts you could need, although we didn’t use the cooker but the kitchen and kitchenette are well stocked with equipment including washing machines. Front room has satellite TV and air conditioning unit with doors opening onto garden. Overall impression of the villa is large, clean, well thought out, the decor is neutral although some may find the kitchen dated Great for families especially if 2 families sharing, enough room for a group of friends to share as there is space for all. Would definitely return ;-)

Beautiful House - Amenities Missing

The house was beautiful and there is plenty of space to hold a large amount of people. We were surprised to find that you cannot flush toilet paper, and need to use the trash bins to dispose of the used pieces, however, this was everywhere we went in Portugal. The water pressure was incredible here, however, there was no soap/shampoo provided for showers in any of the bathrooms. Only hand soap was available. I am not sure what the expectations should be for dishwashing soap, and laundry soap. This property does have a dishwasher and washer/dryer, however, only 2 dishwasher tablets were provided and 4 laundry pods, which was not enough for 7 of us staying for the week. Perhaps these are not provided and were left over from the previous guests, I am not sure. There was also a sewage/dump smell (? not sure what the smell was) that comes in through the two upstairs rooms. My final warning would only be that this listing is on VRBO, however, is run/managed by Elite Rentals. None of the payments happen through VRBO, but you can still get support from them. Overall we had a great time at this villa, and I would recommend the place to others with the warnings listed above. Communication with the host was timely and pleasant.

Wir waren zum 2. Mal mit Freunden & Familie in der Villa Montenegro und wieder fehlte es an nichts für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub. Die Location ist wunderschön und die Lage ruhig aber super für Ausflüge zu den Stränden oder um in den Ort zu laufen. Das Service Team ist sehr nett und die Sauberkeit und Dinge für den Haushalt lassen keine Wünsche offen. Eigentlich nichts. Lediglich in einem der unteren Bäder war die Dusche leicht undicht. Das wird aber auch zeitnah behoben. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Fabulous villa for friends and family.

We stayed in this lovely villa twice this year (April and August) with two different sets of family friends. We all loved this villa for its space and location. The outside space is absolutely fabulous, a lovely pool area, bbq and eating area and rooftop terrace. I know you’re on holiday but the rooftop terrace dries washing like nobody’s business and with two washing machines you can pack light and keep on top of things so easily. It doesn’t feel like a chore to be up on the roof pegging out washing! The living space is so well suited to two families with enough areas for people never to feel on top of each other. We had older teenagers as part of our group and so they occupied the lower area of the villa, giving them a real sense of freedom around the well used games room. We love Carvoeiro and this villa is in a fabulous position. Walking into Carvoeiro is down ‘that hill’ which inevitably involves the ‘dig in’ return journey but we walked it every time. The property is well maintained with regular pool cleaning and a couple who clean the house extremely thoroughly. The villa rental company also called in during both of our visits checking all was ok, they were also extremely responsive and helpful when we did need to contact them. Issues were addressed very impressively promptly.
