The SummerHouse Project, a Home with Garden & Veranda, 5' from the Beach

"SummerHouse Project-Makis House" is a personally styled home with extra comfort and plus amenities so you can unwind, relax and escape from the everyday. The house has been fully renovated in 2020 and has been my personal project and goal to create as a house that people can be comfortable and feel like home.
A two bedroom summerhouse, fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home, can accomodate up to 4 people. It has 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, both air-conditioned with mosquito nets in them, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. Also provides free WiFi and free private parking space.
The house is located 4min walk from the center of Village, away from the noise, but close to gas station, mini-markets, restaurants, ice cream shop and -of course- the beach!

The Summerhouse Project was just what we were looking for - a quiet location but close enough to local amenities. It was clean and very well appointed. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome items. The check-in & check-out procedures were simple & well communicated. Lots of information about the area was supplied well in advance allowing us to plan our visit. We would happily recommend the property to others & may well be back ourselves!

Great communication with Nickolas. Really helpful with a few questions on check in.Nicely decorated place and well-equipped. Fabulous shower!Location was quiet and away from the bustle. About an hour from the airport/main city and 10mins from the good sized town of Acharavi.Favourite outing was climbing Pantokrator and visiting Old Perithia - only 14mins away. Def need a car!

Fantastic and relaxed house, packed with all that you may need

The house located in the Perithia, despite having it's address marked in some maps as Pelekito , and ..that's probably the only thing is is not what I expected. Everything else was above an beyond. There is a good place for sleeping of 4 person. House was super-clean for our arrival, including oven and all the kitchen things. There is an induction (?) stove and oven for baking stuff plus a lot of small kitchen utensils - all what you can think of - is included. As a bonus - double-walled beer mugs in the freezer. Plus some wine and etc as a greeting. There are air-conditioners in every bedroom with a clever monitors for closed windows and signs everywhere to ensure proper cooling and even a separate set heating fans. TV in central room has Netflix/Amazon .. already signed-up and configure plus good selection of international channels - British, German, Dutch, Ukrainian, Spanish and so on.. Separate room works as a laundry and ironing place - again, all included , with instructions! Outside - nice medium-size terrace under a white canopy and a hammock in the corner of the yard under loquat tree. From the property to the beach it normally took me 20 minutes to walk or 5-6 minutes by car. You can also enjoy the tranquillity of the mountain roads around. Owner was also available to help via WhatsApp and on-site providing guidance and useful insights . Definitely recommended for people that want to relax. Or maybe to have house as a calm harbour. 5 start place!

In sehr ruhiger Lage eine sehr schön eingerichtete und saubere Unterkunft, ein sehr zuverlässiger und sehr freundlicher Vermieter, eine wunderschöne Bootstour als Willkommensgruß, ein toller Strand (Spiridon) in der Nähe... Absolut empfehlenswert!

Why they chose this property

I have been staying in this house for holidays as long as I can remember myself. I am deeply connected to it as I have so many happy memories from my childhood spending time with my grandparents until today. Every summer, I would spend my time with many people and especially with Makis. Until 2017. Makis was my grandfather to whom I owe my unforgettable summers and memories. This house has been fully renovated in 2020, and has been my personal project and goal to create as a house that people can be comfortable and feel like a home.
