Nice stay.
We just enjoyed Madrid for a couple days. Apartment was good. Check-in was easy by one app only thing is you need internet for it. Maybe a bigger sign at the frontdoor will help. We just passed the door 2 times before we found out it was that door. Be careful with getting out of bed the ceiling is low i hitting my head a couple times. The thing what we missed some coffee thee supplies just for the first day.

Lively neighborhood
It is a great place to experience life as a true Madrileños. The apartment was well equipped for our needs as a family of four and the A/C was working well to rapidly cool the place during those really hot days. Plenty of small shops around.

Great location, quirky but charming apartment
This is a good apartment in a good location but there are things to consider when staying here… 1. There are 2 separate lofts, both of which have extremely steep and narrow stairs. One set of the stairs (where the queen bed is) isn’t as sturdy with the railing as the other loft stairs. You just need to be careful and take it slow. 2. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and this is the first one where I had to call the property managers to figure out where it was (the numbers are hidden) as well as how to unlock the 3 locks to get inside (there are 3 different doors that need to be unlocked as you go in from the street). I felt safe once we got in because it’s complicated, but the first time, we were totally clueless and needed the property manager to walk through gaining entry over the phone. 3. The apartment is extremely efficient on space usage, but definitely keep in mind there is only one bathroom. For our family of 5, this was a challenge. 4. Make your shower fast. The water collects and you’ll worry it will overflow on to the floor. It never did, but we made sure to take fast showers. 5. If you’re tall, sleep on the downstairs couch. The loft ceilings are about 5 feet high, so you must constantly suck or you’ll be hitting your head. A lot. I liked the location. You can walk to the Royal Palace in 20 minutes or the Prado museum in 20 minutes. AC was good, though it did take a bit to fully cool off the loft areas. Tap water was good, and I’m a total water snob and am iffy on most tap water. I think that’s it!
