Fabulous week in sunny West Cork

I loved the quietness & peacefulness of Lakeside Lodge. Also loved that I was able to bring my furry friend along. The house contained everything I needed and both Nora and her husband were lovely to meet. Sorry I didn't get to speak to Nora again the morning I left. I would recommend this home to anyone.

The location is ideal for touring. The owners , Nora & Tom , were very attentive and helpful, a lovely couple. The interior is slightly dated but you know that before visiting , more importantly it is perfectly clean.

The cottage was ideal for our 1 week stay, along with our dog. Everything there that you need, along with a lovely garden where we sat some evenings, enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the sun go down over Bantry Bay! Also, it is ideally situated for touring West Cork. Highly recommended! ?

Wonderful holiday

Nora was so welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is a great quiet base from which to explore the whole area. The wi-fi signal was intermittent but possibly this was due to the location?

Enjoyed 2 weeks in Lakeside Lodge, Bantry. It is a well laid out and comfortable cottage. The Owner was very welcoming and friendly. Everything was spotless except for the rubber seal of the washing machine. I knew to check on it as I have had experience with my own machine. I would not hold it against the property at all and would recommend staying here in this beautiful part of Ireland.
