Thatched cottage / 200 year old farm house
How about a vacation on a 200 year old property in the southwest of the 'Green Island'? Self-catering holiday or half board in a comfortably furnished 2-6 person apartment on fish-rich Lough Allua in unspoiled nature. Tirna Spideoga - the country of the robins, lies between the villages of Inchigeelagh and Ballingeary, in one of the few Irish cultural enclaves on the island. The cottage is embedded in a huge nature park. Its location is a good starting point for interesting tours, and the Gougane Barra National Park is nearby. The port town of Bantry, the flower island 'Garinish Island' and Glengariff are also worth a visit. This village is the starting point for a tour of the Beara Peninsula over the Healy Pass. You should also take your time for the most famous route, the Ring of Kerry.
