Our house is located between Camaiore and the village of Pedona, Campiglioni. The central body dates back to the late '400 and was built on a stone ridge as a stable and accommodation. Enlarged and renovated over the years, inside there are terracotta floors of Impruneta, railings of the famous foundry of Candalla, Velletri tiles and ancient beams originating from an ancient Camaiore palace. Do not expect perfection, its small defects make it unique. Follow us on IG @lacasatragliulivi

My family and I spent a beautiful week at Gianluca's house. The house is very well located, and incredibly well appointed -- especially for children. Also worth mentioning was how generous Gianluca was with his time and recommendations. The only problem was that we eventually had to leave. I hope we can visit again soon.

Liebe zur Toskana entdeckt

Wir haben zu viert (2 Erw., 2 Kinder) zwei Wochen im Haus von Gianlucas Familie verbracht und sie sehr genossen. Es ist einfach wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr großzügig geschnitten und der Garten toll zum Essen, Tischtennis spielen und Wein trinken. Die Umgebung ist toll und wenn man gewillt ist, immer auch etwas im Auto zu sitzen, kann man tolle Städte entdecken (Lucca, Pisa, Pietrasanta, Florenz, San Gimignano, Volterra) und am Strand entspannen (der öffentliche Strand ist weiter weg als die privaten). Bei schlechterem Wetter (aber auch bei gutem) empfiehlt sich z.B. das Naturhistorische Museum in Calci. Camaiore selbst ist recht klein, hat aber trotzdem z.B. hervorragende Pizza zu bieten. Der Kontakt mit Gianluca war immer freundlich, zeitnah und lösungsorientiert (bei uns funktionierte die Waschmaschine leider nicht, wofür Gianluca aber auch eine Lösung fand) - Danke! Wir hoffen auch im nächsten Jahr wieder zu Gast sein zu dürfen!

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus mit extrem schönen Garten (Olivenhain)

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unsere beiden Töchter (6 und 1 Jahr) und unser Hund hatten viel Spass im Olivenhain. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig über 3 Etagen mit viel liebe zum Detail ausgestattet. Gianluca war sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlendes Objekt.

Beautiful hide-away for the stessed out

Beautiful vintage farm house in the hills of Camaiore, surrounded by olive trees. The house is full of the family's memories, antiques and so many subjects and pictures to discover. For those who love to cook or have a BBQ: the kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to ask for. You could easily host 20 guests - but who wants that during a holiday? Gianluca is a lovely host, always easy to contact and a source of many recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We really had a lovely time with al fresco dining, an open fire in the kitchen, pool billard on a rainy day (there are all sorts of cards and board games!) etc. Camaiore is also a good point for day trips: Viareggio - an art deco pearl or Marina di Pietrasanta and Lido di Camaiore for beach lovers, Lucca, Pisa and Florence for cultural trips... Just one thing to consider: There's NO wi-fi and the mobile internet connection depends a lot on your provider. As the house is set in the hills and the walls are thick you might not have any access at all. As we said: a perfect hide-away for the stressed out!

Großzügiges Haus und Grundstück

Das Ferienhaus entspricht exakt der Beschreibung. Das Alter verleiht ihm einen besonderen romantischen Charme. Es war sauber und für uns, zu dritt, recht großzügig. Auch der Garten hat uns gut gefallen. Er lädt dazu ein, alleine unter Olivenbäume zu sitzen und zu träumen. Gianlucca, unser Gastgeber war sehr nett und auf Englisch konnte man sich gut verständigen. Insgesamt hat es uns gut gefallen und wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Lovely old place in the mountains but close to the beach

Gianluca is an excellent host, full of tips on where to go and where to eat. The house is big (I would describe as a sort of mini-chateau), with wonderful old features and in a beautiful setting. The photos don’t really do it justice. The town of Camaiore is 5 minutes away down the hill by car. And it’s around 20 mins drive to the beach, past many lovely pasticcerias and gelaterias on the way that we sampled many of. We had a wonderful 4 weeks here.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit wunderbarem Garten

Das Haus ist sehr alt, aber die Bäder modernisiert. Die Einrichtung ist ein kleines Museum, aber auch gemütlich. Es ist sehr sauber. Der Vermieter sehr zuverlässig, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein Manko ist, dass es kein WLAN gibt und das Internet nicht gut mit Lücken. Der Garten ist ein Traum mit Olivenbäumen, Kirsch- und anderen Obstbäumen.

Erholungsurlaub im Grünen

Das Haus ist wunderbar, sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Anfangs war es noch sehr kalt, im Sommer sicher ein Vorteil. Der Garten ist ein Traum und sehr groß! Wir würden es wieder buchen.
