Excellent location for all types of vacation

Our 3 bedroomed house is situated in a semi rural situation, in the historical village of Irby. Here you will find 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, shops and amenities. We are close to a number of beaches including Thurstaston and West Kirby, and are within 300 metres of Thurstaston common which provides wonderful walks through the ancient woods of Roydon Park. There are a number of golf courses on our doorstep, including Caldy, Royal Liverpool and Wallasey.

The house was very clean and the little starter pack was a lovely touch. The property is close to local beaches and amenities also handy to catch the bus into Liverpool or Chester.The check in process was easy and the host communicated clearly and promptly. We hope to return again soon.

Lovely house in a great location

This is a lovely spacious house in a great location, a short walk to two pubs and local shops and takeaways. The house was spotlessly clean and great communication from the host. Will stay again.

Very comfortable and convenient for visiting Wirral, Liverpool and Chester (after 30 years!). Accommodation consistent with advertised, good kitchen, easy parking and enclosed garden (useful when travelling with dog). Thank you Lindsey was an excellent host. The property and the area was lovely The bed was very comfortable if a little small - we are a little taller probably than average. The house facilities were of a high standard in particular the kitchen and bathroom. The out side space was well cared for and we regularly had a glass of wine outside in the evening.

Lovely house in a nice location, very quiet.House has everything you need for a comfortable stay.Nice enclosed garden dog was safe.Just one thing the freezer was full of food not sure if previous guests had left it? There was no room to fit ours in.Nice welcome pack of milk, wine and biscuits.Overall a nice stay. Would recommend.

Great property and host

We stayed here whilst our property was being refurbished. It's a beautiful house and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The garden is fantastic and our young kids spent hours on the swing and garden chairs. The host was super communicative and helpful both before and during our stay - I'm sure she would have been there if we'd had any issues. Very well priced for what it is, we would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Suited our needs well

Property was excellent. A few minor things; microwave practically inaccessible, gate didn’t close properly (which was a issue with having a dog) and heating set too low to come on (but got around this by manual adjustment). We were there to visit family and the location was perfect. We would definitely come back again.

Lovely home from home

We've just returned from a short stay in this lovely house whilst visiting family nearby. The house is exactly as described in the pictures, really comfortable, clean and homely with a well stocked kitchen and everything you could need. A comfortable and relaxing stay

We were a family group, including grandparents and our two year old granddaughter. We booked the house to see extended family in West Kirby as well as friends in Manchester. The house was very clean and well cared for. It is very well equipped, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Communication with Lindsey was excellent and the welcome pack was good. We would highly recommend the property and would stay there again.

We had 4 adults staying in this house, from Thursday evening until Sunday morning. Lindsey made everything very simple. She let us know in good time, where the key was and how we could collect it.The house was perfect for us. Clean, with all the mod cons. It could not have been better situated, just a two minute walk from a lovely pub/restaurant. Lindsey left us a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch, together with other items we may have needed, (milk etc). A great weekend was had by all. Thank you Lindsey

Good stay

We stayed 3 nights in this property and it was generally good. The location is quiet and convenient. The house is well maintained and equipped. On the downside, we arrived early evening in November and the house was absolutely freezing (nobody on site / self check-in). Fortunately, instructions were given on boosting the heating but it took 2-3 hours to resolve itself.

Thank you for your review. It is a shame about the heating however my welcome text does ask you to let me know if you want the heating on at different times than the timer is set to as per below. Also, I can only apologise for the heating unusually taking 2-3 hours to warm up, the house is normally warm within an hour. Welcome text sent the day before arrival… “The heating is set to come on at the following times: 7.30am - 8.30am 1pm - 2pm 5.30pm - 9.30pm If you would like it set for different times please let me know as I have to set the schedule on up on my phone. However there is the thermostat in the lounge to control it manually; instructions are below”.

Sehr gute genaue Beschreibung des Hauses. Sehr gute Ausstattung insgesamt, Küche auch sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts. Betten sehr gut. Sauber und gepflegt, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.
