A very comfortable studio with helpful and friendly hosts. A great area for Hadrian’s Wall exploration. Beautiful countryside with plenty of National Trust and English Heritage to visit.

Lovely Hosts,Nice and quiet and peaceful.

Lovely Hosts,Nice and quiet and peaceful.The stables studio had everything you could want and at a very reasonable price .We enjoyed the local walks from the doorstep,the village although down a steep hill had all the amenities you could require.Three pubs,a co op ,fish and chip shop ,cafes ,post office etc.Hexham is only a few miles away ,shops, supermarkets. Pubs , restaurants etc.Lovely countryside and villages in the area and not forgetting Hadrian's Wall.If you require a peaceful break ,then I can recommend The Stables Studio .The owners have a couple of ponies stabled next door but we didn't experience any noise etc and they were lovely .B&R
