Since the cottage was on an inlet, it was very peaceful and quiet. There were lots of steps but that was noted on description. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. Cottage is close to small towns in area and Peterborough.

Lovely location. Lake was lovely great for fishing. Wish itvwas indicated thatvit was a weedy locationnso kids were not disapointed about swimming. Appreciated the many options for sitting out on decks. The hot tub was a really greatvfeature slaswell. The cottahe itself was cozy just felt the kitchen could be better stocked. The host Steven was extremely helpful with great communication and would definitely return for another visit.

Wonderful stay at a very well managed cottage right on Stoney Lake. Check in and check out were smooth, Stephen the host was very helpful and incredibly responsive... Any message or question, before or during the trip, was answered very promptly.The property itself was even better than we expected based on the listing. Absolutely gorgeous waterfront property on a small, quiet inlet of Stony lake... But with the larger lake very accessible. House was very clean and well stocked.We were here primarily to fish Stoney lake and the fishing did not disappoint! The inlet itself that the cottage is on has lots of small panfish and sunfish, and some small bass, but only 100m away is a larger bay that holds plentiful Largemouth bass including some we caught over 3lb. Slightly further are the deeper sections of the lake where Small mouth bass and Walleye were caught. Overall this property was perfect for a summer fishing getaway and we will likely be coming back next year!

The host was very responsive and helped us find fun activities for the whole family. There is so much to do near by. The cottage is charming and comfortable, on a quiet and beautiful inlet. I would recommend bringing baby gates if you have young children to block off a portion of deck. Stephen did warn us of the rocks and accessibility issues, so we came well prepared. We had a wonderful time with our three young girls and we can’t wait to return. The hot tub was a perk we weren’t expecting but were so excited to use! The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware and I didn’t need to pack half the things I had!Thank you Stephen, we hope you will have us back!
