Hollyhock is a delightful, first-floor cottage resting in Akeld, Northumberland. Hosting two bedrooms including a double and a twin along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Bed linen and towels included in rent. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside, there is off-road parking and access to a shared courtyard with furniture. Hollyhock is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday to this picturesque area of Northumberland. Note: This property does not accept Sunday check ins. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. The Cheviot Goat pub is located on site and is available to guests subject to seasonal opening hours. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026.
Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival.
From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at £42 per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children under the age of 14 are not charged for pool use
The swimming pool is unsupervised and used at guests’ own risk
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and lone swimming is not permitted for anyone under 18
