We absolutely loved our stay. The hen house had everything we needed and more (loved the fact it had a shelter so we could still sit out if it was raining). The facilities and farm were great. Josh and Natalie were very welcoming and on hand should we require anything.
All very clean inside and a cosy environment to relax. I was unable to think of anything that could have improved our stay 10/10 :) Thank you.

Our second visit - still as lovely as ever! We'll be back for a third visit next year!
Dartmoor Reach is rare: we have stayed twice and can honestly say there is nothing to find fault with! The location and surroundings are divine. The ethos of the endeavour is wonderful. We've stayed twice in the henhouse and we love it - it's bijou! It's also clean, comfortable, and has everything you could want for a short break. Our children LOVED spending an hour with Ben looking after the animals. Our breakfast basket was wonderful. THANK YOU!!!

Perfect!
A beautifully crafted, decorated and appointed cabin in a unique and peaceful setting. Kids could roam free amongst the animals whilst adults could relax but always have an eye on them. Everything had been thought of in the cabin and it was superbly comfortable.
The owners were not actually around the weekend we stayed, but had left the farm in the hands of a very capable, and extremely friendly and interesting friend of theirs.

About the host
Hosted by Host
Born on Dartmoor, Josh moved onto the farm in 2015, initially planning to stay only a few months while deciding where to live with his baby daughter Romy. He then met Natalie, originally from Scotland, who became his wife, along with Cerys, his future stepdaughter and Romy's future stepsister. Their shared dream was to create a peaceful retreat that reconnects guests with nature and promotes wellbeing. In 2019, they began farming alpacas, married in 2021, and opened for glamping the same year. The Big Red Bus arrived in 2022, adding to the charm. Natalie fulfilled her dream of building a yoga studio on site, reflecting her passion for wellbeing and spirituality. The family is relaxed and strives for self-sufficiency, growing their own vegetables and meat, collecting eggs, enjoying the countryside, campfires, and visits to the local pub. Natalie is a qualified yoga instructor with her own studio, while Josh dedicates himself fully to the farm, constantly seeking ways to improve the guest experience. Dartmoor Reach Alpaca Farm is now their life’s work. Guests love the warm welcome and laid back way of life.
