We had a great holiday here. Lovely characterful house, very comfortable downstairs space, four bedrooms (two best suited to kids) and a patio table on each side of the house so always sun/shade as required, a real bonus as we had a brilliant week for weather! Easy access for Penzance, Minack and Sennen Cove (get there around nine-ish if you want a parking space!)
Just right for us with plenty of kitchen stuff A tumble drier would have been handy! But we managed in the warm air. Jane was available on the few occasions we needed her and very helpful . An excellent host.
Ideal house for a break in far west Cornwall. Lots of space. Lovely setting. Super host. Close to lots of places of interest and some great beaches for swimming and surfing. Within easy reach of St Ives, Newlyn, Sennen etc. DO NOT BOTHER with Lands End which has been made into a tacky dump: £7 to park even if there are no spaces..no money back.
This house is a lovely haven of peace for a relaxing break with plenty of beautiful and interesting places to visit.
Highly recommended.
The house was perfect for a group of 2 families with kids, we all had plenty of space and bathrooms, the kitchen was really well equipped and we loved all the family games to play with. A great village, pub and farm shop are fantastic.
Jane was a fantastic host who gave us loads of information of places to go, dine and see. The barn is stunning, all the home comforts and spotless, and the location is fantastic for exploring the area. The beaches are beautiful and the water is crystal clear. We loved Sennen beach. Kids could hire equipment and spend all day in the sea. We will definitely be coming back to stay!
The house is located in a lovely quiet village. It is a short walk across fields to a well stocked shop and has easy access to main roads. The house was clean and had all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has everything you need...and lots of space. The bedrooms were comfortable, ensuite in main bedroom has a wonderful shower and the main bathroom has a jacuzzi bath which was enjoyed. Outside we enjoyed the garden, my daughter particularly enjoyed meeting Luna the cat and would frequently make her way outside to go and sit with her. Jane was an excellent communicator and always got back to us promptly. We visited some lovely beaches, a favourite being Porthcurno beach, just need some coins ready for paying the car park. A lovely house and a lovely area of Cornwall, would highly recommend.
