I loved being fairly central to everything. The St James Park underground station is under the flat, great for getting around the city. Lots of places to eat nearby. Very easy walking distance to everything by the Thames, from food, entertainment, sites, and parks. Sean was a lovely host, as I messaged him more than I probably needed to. I would definitely stay there again.
The flat was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for our needs as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to all the major sites and convenient to the theatre district. The pubs were plentiful and the food great. Sean, our host, was very attentive and the instructions for both arrival and departure were very clear and easy to follow. Would certainly stay again.
Communication was excellent. The property was spotless. Location ideal; right near a tube station. I especially appreciated the bathtub. The bed was comfortable. I will stay here again.
This flat (#12) is exactly as described. It is a very clean apartment with all the required amenities. The location is excellent—within walking distance of the major attractions, and the subway is just outside the flat. Sean is always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this place without any hesitation.
Great location right at the st James tube. Walk to great pubs. Convenience store in the same building. Great bakery in building or minutes to fancy French breakfast. Hop on/off stop in 1 block. Washer was a life saver. No dryer but fun to use rack dryer for a night in with Netflix. Would stay again
Stayed 8 nights to sightsee London, nice property and spacious.
Pros: nice kitchen, actual king size bed, washing machine and great location next to the tub.
Cons: bare minimum on water pressure when showering, no real drying machine only drying racks and radiators.

I would like to respond to your comments regarding the things you considered cons
The shower is a standard 'over bath' model which is typical in the UK. There is a photo on the listing to make this clear. Whilst it is clearly not a 'power shower' it is perfectly fit for purpose.
I was surprised that you were disappointed that the washing machine does not have a drying function as the detailed amenities of the property listing clearly states that the dryer is a 'Heated clothes airer/dryer'.

Everything as advertised. Great communication with the host. We had support 24/7. Enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend. The unit is roomy, quiet and as safe as it could be. Surprisingly well equipped kitchen. My wife loved cooking a thing or two there. Thank you!
The flat met or exceeded our expectations. Walking distance to Westminster sights; within a 30 minute Tube ride to all other London attractions. The Tube (subway) station was two blocks away. There is a taxi stand at the Tube station. Pubs, restaurants, bakeries, delis all within a few minutes walk. The area is quiet during the evenings.My only negative comment would be that the parking lot at the doors to access the apartment building needs to be cleaned. I understand that this is not something Sean controls.Sean was terrific.Don't miss the short stroll to St. James's Park!
Amazing location. Close to everything of interest. Great communication. Door to fire escape stairs is locked with cypher lock. Tenants should be provided with combination in event of emergency. Some elevators automatically return to lowest floor if alarm is activated. All appliances worked perfectly. Would highly recommend.

I don't understand what you mean when you say the fire escape is locked as this is definitely not the case. It is opposite flat 10, as described in the household manual. Perhaps you are thinking about the door next to the lift which has a keycode & is for access to the lift maintenance area and water tanks.

We were in London for a week and stayed at Sean’s flat which was located in a perfect location. Super short walk to St James Park, The Thames and all its attractions, the mall and Buckingham Palace and the Tube which is super easy to take. Sean was a very courteous host and very flexible. We were able to check out a bit later which was a great relief as our flight out was late that day. The place was very clean and has access to good TV channels for morning news and such. The size was perfect. Bed and linen super comfy and fresh. It has a washing machine and drying rack which worked very well. The fridge had a few items in it that was handy when we arrived such as milk and water! Tea and coffee was provided. It’s surrounded by lots of convenience shops, coffee shops and pubs. Would recommend Sean place to any couple looking for a very convenient spot to stay at. A great spot. Great host.
After arriving we realized that the laundry machine was broken, and even though the fact that the listing had a laundry machine was the main reason we booked here we gave the host the benefit of the doubt when he said it would be fixed in 3 days. 3 days later the host reached out and said it wouldn’t be fixed and recommended we leave early and accept a refund. I agreed and we left promptly. Now I’m finding out from Vrbo that the host doesn’t want to give us a refund even though he recommended it to us. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. The only silver lining here is that my bank has looked at my proof, realized the host was in the wrong, and will be refunding us.

No, this is what actually happened.
You reported an error on the washing machine on Saturday 19th Aug. I apologised for the inconvenience and immediately booked an engineer visit for Monday morning (the next working day). Unfortunately the appointment was cancelled by the engineer on Sunday evening.
I updated you & offered to take your washing to the laundrette. You declined the offer but asked for the details of the nearest laundry, which I supplied.
The next day I offered to pick your washing up, do it at our home & then return it, you didn't respond to this offer. I then repeated the offer which you didn't accept.
You then raised a complaint with vrbo & asked them to move you to another property.
I realised that there would be nothing we could do to satisfy your urgent need to self launder so I offered you a full discount for the remaining 3 days & asked vrbo to remind you that check out time was 10am. I also notified vrbo that I was happy for them to make the arrangements if you decided to leave.
You did decide to vacate, however, you didn't leave promptly as you state, at the check out time of 10am, but at 1.30pm. More importantly you didn't respond to vrbo's requests to confirm the cancellation. This meant your booking wasn't removed from my calendar & therefore the property wasn't available to potential new guests.
All of the above is documented on the vrbo messaging system & their complaint log. I am sure this info. will be supplied to your credit card company in response to your request for a full refund, which I note includes the days you stayed.
I accept that the fault on the WM was inconvenient for you but if you had accepted our multiple offers of help you could have enjoyed your short stay in London & saved yourselves, us, vrbo and your bank all this unnecessary aggravation.

After a review Mr Schultz's bank have refunded me the payment he attempted to reverse. They, therefore, didn't "realise I was wrong".
This property has everything you need for a great stay in London most importantly it is centrally located and spitting distance to the tube station which we used all the time. While it is a bit spartan it has all the important amenities. We actually found it quite spacious for two. And the bed is super comfortable.
King size bed, good internet, nicely equipped kitchen, lift to flat, spacious and quiet bedroom,
spacious lounge area with USB ports for charging. Nice sized bathroom. Flat was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Host Sean provided excellent and timely communication. Easy access to theaters, museums and other tourist attractions. Recommended.
Couldn’t ask for a better location, or a better host!
We had an amazing week in London and the flat is excellent. Clean, bright and well stocked. The bed is very comfortable. The best part of the experience was working with Sean. He was so gracious in accommodating us when we had to change our trip dates and was always very responsive. I would recommend this flat to anyone and will be back next time we’re in London.
This property is located 1km from Buckingham Palace directly adjacent to the Underground (and close to a great bakery!). Every location in the City of London was easily accessible by foot or public transportation. The property was extremely clean and the host immediately responded to any of our inquiries. We would highly recommend this property.
If I could give this property more than 5 stars, I would. Great location! Great owner who not only made our check in easy by allowing us to do it earlier because of our international flight, but also he was wonderful during check out. The apartment is close to all the attractions and if you need to go further just take a tube ( right outside of flat) or Uber boat . The apartment is clean and nice. Everything you need is inside. Very happy with our week stay at this location. Definitely would come back and stay here again! Thank you!
Despite the rather unappealing views from its windows, this residence has much to recommend it. It's simply but amply furnished, well stocked with equipment, and, best of all, perfectly situated. It's located atop a tube station. It's within quick walking distance of both lovely, nature-filled St. James Park and the Mall and Westminster Abby, and within minutes by Tube and bus of all of the city and its many distinctive neighborhoods.
