About this property
Luxury holiday home in a quiet central area sleeping up to 5 adults & 2 kids.
Bryony House has had significant upgrading to a tasteful, comfortable, homely and luxurious standard.
The house sits in a very quiet area, at the end of a cul de sac just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Aviemore. For keen golfers, Spey Valley golf course and country club is just a couple minutes walk where you can also enjoy the steak house restaurant and bar. There is a private garden at the back and front with comfortable garden furniture to enjoy in the warmer days/nights. Ample parking in the driveway at the front for 2 cars. The house can sleep up to 5 adults and 2 kids across 4 bedrooms with a travel cot available too. The bedroom downstairs being a bunkbed room only suitable for kids up to 12yrs. The ensuite to the master bedroom has a shower cubicle and wash hand basin. There is a separate toilet. The main shower room is located upstairs.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home from home holiday experience with an endless amount of activities not far from the door step.
A short drive can take you to the stunning Loch Morlich with picnic areas and watersports or you can enjoy zip lining in Aviemore itself. There are a number of activities to choose at Loch Insh outdoor centre a few miles out of Aviemore or go along to the Highland wildlife park. These are just to name a few of the activities available. There is a tourist information centre in the main street of the town to explore ideas on what to do in or around.
At the property we accept one small well behaved dog but wish the house furniture to be respected and covered if your pet is staying with you please. This is to ensure that the guests following you will not be affected with allergies.
We love doggies! they need a holiday too but we appreciate your understanding with this.

About the host
Hosted by Sonja Smith

Hi my name is Sonja and I am the owner of Bryony House in Aviemore along with my husband Scott. We live an hour away from Aviemore in the town of Buckie on the Moray coast. We have visited Aviemore since we were both young and I personally have always loved it. so when the opportunity came to own our own property there we jumped at the chance. We use the property ourselves with our family and little cavapoo dog Buddy. Our kids are teenagers now but still also enjoy the short breaks there too. Its our home from home.
Why they chose this property
We were extremely lucky to get this property when it came on the market. It was word of mouth through a friend that we heard the owners was selling. We viewed it and fell in love with the location. It is situated in a very quiet cul de sac and surrounded with trees and the back is very private. We could see potential in making it our very own home from home holiday home. The property required quite extensive work so we have since been renovating bit by bit and can say that we are nearly there. We installed all new showers, toilets and basins including a water pressure pump to allow for power showers. We replaced all the windows and doors to new grey pvc to give the more modern contemporary look. We have replaced fencing and landscaped back and front gardens with new paving. Each room has been tastefully decorated. I take pride in our house as we love to visit and stay there ourselves. I visit regularly to ensure it is in tip top condition for each of our guests. I like to keep a close contact with our guests to ensure they have the most enjoyable and comfortable stay.
