Very nice appartmens with great hosts

We had a great sunny stay in October and enjoyed the pool a lot. The appartment is very nice and clean. Especially Alessandro and his family made this stay a wonderful experience

Lovely stay in South East Sicily - near Seracusa

The accommodation suited us very well (family with 2 teenagers) - we were on holiday during a hot August, so the large pool was really fantastic, as well as the air con in the 2 bedrooms & the bbq/terrace for outdoor cooking. Alessandro is a very lovely host - he & his family were super welcoming and made us feel at home. Very helpful with recommendations for places to eat, where to buy food, beaches to visit and all the local attractions. We loved their dog and cats too! This was our first visit to Sicily and we were surprised, at first, with all the beaches that are 'private beach clubs' during the summer (we are from the UK, where most beaches are free). We opted for the 'free beach' which in the month of August, gets a little busy on the small parts/ends of the beach that are not private! However, Alessandro gave us some AMAZING suggestions for beaches & swim spots that were not too busy & away from the beach clubs and sunbeds. Just take a parasol and a picnic & you'll be very happy! You do need a car in Sicily. Highlights of our trip were: *Treking to natural freshwater pools - lovely and cool, in a beautiful setting in Cavagrande del Cassibile *A trip up Mount Etna (it was 5 degrees up top..take a jumper/hat/coat) *Spiaggia naturista di Marianelli (no - not a nudist beach! It is a nature reserve) *Boat trip with snorkelling, paddleboards and lunch (ask Alessandro!) *Ortigia *Drinking granita to cool down! *Aranchini - yummy! Great hols, grazie mille!

Gîte fonctionnel avec 2 chambres et bonne literie; climatisation, qui donne sur un jardinet. Piscine grande, bien entretenue et tellement agreable! Warm welcome, lovely place and a great base to explore south east Sicily

We had a great stay here in Arenella, nr Syracusa. The two bed apartment, split over 2 floors in part of farmhouse conversion, had everything we needed. Kids loved the pool which is shared with other 2 appts and the owner's family. As it worked out we pretty much had it to ourselves. Alessandro, whose family have owned the farm for 500 years, was so cheery and helpful. He was very reliable for cafe and pizza recommendations. We were pleased to meet his family over the course of our stay. The location was ideal for popping into Syracusa or out to the many great beaches along the east coast. We did a day to Etna, explored Noto and were pleased to revisit Noto Antica.

Sehr schöne geräumige Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es gab - eine ziemlich grosse Wohnküche (von Maria mit Frühstücksutensilien, wie Hörnchen, Kuchen, Saft, und noch ganz viel mehr) ausgestattet und ein sehr grosses Wohnzimmer mit Bücherwand, Sesseln, Kamin und Sofa, zum Fernsehen ein grosser (55 Zoll ?) Fernseher. Wir haben abends bei Bedarf über die Wlan-Verbindung Zugang zu Netflix gehabt. -Zum Schlafen ein schönes Schlafzimmer, daneben ein kleines Bad. -Vor der Tür im Tiefgeschoss gibt es eine Terrasse, die wir selbst nicht beutzt haben, weil das Wetter nicht so warm war. Die Wohnung liegt im Untergeschoss eines Hauses, ist innen kühl, müsste vielleicht öfter gelüftet werden, weil es draussen immer etwas feuchte Luft hatte (Mai) Im Erdgeschoss gibt es einen schönen Pool. (Auf dem Nachbargrundstück gibt es ein schönes Restaurant mit sizilianischer Küche. ) Aus unserer Sicht eine tolle Unterkunft - also nix wie hin ;-)

Fabulous holiday accommodation

We had a great week in Sicily and we were especially happy with our accommodation. You will find the house exactly as described on the website. Alessandro is the perfect host: before, during and even after our stay! He is so helpful and friendly! Our boys made the most of the big pool and absolutely loved the animals on the property (a lovely, friendly dog and lots of cats). We thought the location war great, too. It is so quiet and peaceful. The beautiful beach of Arenella is only a few minutes drive away. We could highly recommend this holiday property to anybody who wants to explore the southeast of Sicily!

Idéal pour un séjour en famille!

Super appartement à 15 mn de Syracuse. Très belle propriété avec piscine, appartement fonctionnel et confortable. Idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes. Très bien situé pour découvrir le sud-est de la Sicile. Tout proche de la plage d’Arenella. Le vrai plus de cet appartement: Alessandro, le propriétaire!! Hyper accueillant, au petit soin pour ses hôtes, de super bon conseil pour les visites. Un vrai coup de cœur. Un grand merci pour ce séjour chez vous! Nous reviendrons certainement!!

La nostra vacanza é stata davvero speciale. Le foto del sito sono molto belle ma dal vivo è tutto ancora più bello. Impagabili la tranquillità del posto, la piscina bellissima e pulitissima, lo splendido mare a solo un minuto di macchina, le piante rare del giardino, l'uliveto... La posizione è davvero perfetta, strategica! Il proprietario ci ha organizzato tutto alla perfezione, anche la gita in barca nell'area marina protetta di Siracusa! Torneremo sicuramente! We had a very special and beautiful holidays. The pictures published in the webesite are very nice but the reality is much better. Wonderfull tranquility of the place, the pool is very beautiful and very clean, the sea is very beautiful and very clean (in just a minute by car), the rare plants of the garden... The location is really perfect, strategic! The owner has organized everything to perfection, even the boat tour! In the house we found everything needed for staying. We go back for sure!

La belle vita Sicilia !!

Cette location à proximité de Siracusa a dépassé toutes nos espérances, tout d’abord, le charme extérieur de cette ancienne ferme et le jardin luxuriant rempli d’arbres fruitiers et plantes typiques du pays, nous ont fait se sentir dans l’authentique Sicile. Après une journée d’excursions, ou tout simplement pour une journée de farniente, la grande piscine très bien entretenue, a été très appréciable. L’intérieur de la location est comme sur les photos, aménagé avec bon goût, fonctionnel et bien entretenu. Et que dire de la merveilleuse famille propriétaire, toujours disponible, tout en restant discret, chaleureuse, ayant le sens de l’hospitalité, généreuse (en nous apportant des fruits de leur jardin). F., le père, pour nous raconter sa Sicile d’autrefois, et cela en français. Y., la maman, très douce, qui sait nous raconter les plantes de son jardin. Alex, le fils, actif et dynamique pour nous informer de toutes les excursions à faire et les endroits à visiter, et pour finir, la fille, R., la jeunesse sicilienne. Tout cela, pour vous dire, que si vous voulez connaitre la Sicile dans toute sa splendeur, n’hésitez pas, cette location est faite pour vous !!! A recommander, vivement !!

Des vacances parfaites !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce logement. Alessandro a été très accueillant à notre arrivée et ensuite, il nous a laissé profiter des lieux, en étant très discret (sa maison est sur le même domaine), mais nous pouvions compter sur son aide si nous en avions besoin : perfetto ! Le logement est très propre et offre un confort moderne dans une construction qui a le charme de l'ancien. La piscine est grande (environ 12m de long) et se trouve dans un joli jardin. A noter qu'il y a plusieurs logements sur place, mais ça ne nous a pas du tout gêné. Enfin, l'emplacement de cette "vieille ferme réabilitée", au calme, au milieu des champs, mais assez proche de Syracuse (15 minutes) et des plages (premières plages à quelques minutes) offre un compromis idéal pour un séjour reposant, mais avec beaucoup de possibilités d'excursion. En résumé : une valeur sûre (nous avons déjà prévu d'y revenir avec des amis l'an prochain !).

VACANZA MAGNIFICA, TUTTO PERFETTO!

Tutto come nella perfetta descrizione, anzi meglio. Posizione davvero stragegica ad un passo dallo splendido mare dell'Arenella ed a soli 10 minuti dal centro storico di Siracusa e da Noto. Casa perfettamente in ordine e pulita dotata di tutto quello che serve. Proprietario è una persona squisita gentile e molto disponibile. I suoi consigli sono stati davvero utili. TORNEREMO PRESTO! Tolle Unterkunft, sauber und sehr gepflegt

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in einer der Wohnung verbracht. Ein absolut gepflegtes Areal mit schönem Pool, die Wohnungen sind sämtlich sehr neu (3 Jahre) und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Standort ist wunderbar, da man in alle Richtungen (Noto, Siracusa, Ätna usw.) schnell kommen kann und der Strand in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto liegt. Alessandro (Vermieter) war stets gut verfügbar und sehr hilfreich. Auf dem Gelände leben ein paar Katzen und ein sehr gut abgerichteter und ruhiger Hund, was unseren Kindern sehr gut gefallen hat und sie ihre Scheu etwas verloren haben. Kleines Manko, dass die Holzdecke in der Wohnung nicht gedämmt ist und es dadurch etwas hellhörig ist. Aber das war für uns in Ordnung. Fazit: sehr zu empfehlen.

TUTTO PERFETTO!!!

Tutto è pienamente conforme alla descrizione ed alle foto, l’appartamento è molto pulito e curato nei minimi dettagli. Il giardino è molto ben tenuto e la piscina è stupenda! Ad appena un minuto in macchina ( 1 km) c’è il favoloso mare dell’ Arenella, la zona balneare più bella di Siracusa (area marina protetta), con incantevoli spiagge dorate e calette mozzafiato. La posizione è davvero strategica, Siracusa è a soli 10 minuti, Noto a 15 minuti, PERFETTO! L’ ampio parcheggio privato è comodissimo per lasciare in totale sicurezza la macchina. I proprietari sono molto gentili, simpatici e disponibili, abbiamo ricevuto sempre ottimi consigli e dettagliate informazioni turistiche. Tout est entièrement conforme à la description et la photo, l'appartement est très propre et grande attention aux détails. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et la piscine est magnifique! Juste une minute dans la voiture (1 km), il ya la merveilleuse mer de 'Arenella, la plus belle station balnéaire de Syracuse (aire marine protégée), avec de belles plages de sable doré et de criques magnifiques. L'emplacement est très stratégique, Syracuse est à seulement 10 minutes, Noto à 15 minutes, et Marzamemi Vendicari à 30 minutes. Le «grand parking privé est très facile de laisser la voiture en toute sécurité. VACANZA PERFETTA ED INDIMENTICABILE!

Tutto è pienamente conforme alla descrizione ed alle foto!La casa è molto confortevole ed accessoriata per trascorrere una piacevolissima vacanza. La piscina è grande e molto pulita! Siamo stati ricevuti con tantissima cordialità, disponibilità e simpatia da parte dei proprietari. A pochi passi ci sono le spiagge con un mare stupendo, cristallino e limpido! Perfetto per chi si vuole allontanare dallo stress quotidiano. Raccomandiamo inoltre di assaggiare i prodotti tipici di questa bellissima terra come gli agrumi, i fichi, le paste di mandorla, i gelati incredibili, la cassata, i cannoli, i vini, l’olio, e tutti prodotti ittici. Inoltre, potere raggiungere a pochi minuti di auto, luoghi come Ortigia, Noto e Siracusa con il suo incredibile Teatro Greco e tutta la zona archeologica, è davvero impagabile. VACANZA INDIMENTICABILE!!! Grazie infinite e arrivederci a presto!!!
