It is located in the country side and is surrounded by lemon and orange trees. Only 6km from the city of Siracusa and only 8 min' driving distance to the sandy beach of Arenella. It is made of a large dining/living area with windows looking on the garden, 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed and 1 with single beds)
and 2 bathrooms, washing machine and air-conditioning/heating.

Lovely Villa

A lovely property in a quiet location. Beautiful pool and efficient air conditioning which was welcome as it was very hot during our stay. Very comfortable. A great location close to a lovely beach and syracusa. I would recommend a car to get around. Very warm welcome from the hosts with lots of valuable local information.

Nice place with a great pool

The house was well suited to our needs as a small family, especially having two separate bed & bathrooms. The biggest plus is definitely the rather spacious pool. One suggestion for the owner would be to install Moskito nets in all the windows, since they can really be a pest at night.

Lovely cottage, super pool and great owners

Amazing holiday. We arrived later than expected (and at the wrong meeting point!) but Stephanie (the cottage manager) wasn’t phased at all and walked us through everything with some great tips for local restaurants. The owners had made an extremely tasty bowl of pasta salad for us to eat on arrival (with a bottle of wine) which was very much appreciated. The pool is plenty big enough for a family of 4 and parking is easy and secure - you do need a car though. All in all a superb holiday and Stephanie responded straight back if we had any questions. Would recommend this if you want somewhere peaceful with a pool, as it is well equipped and well maintained.

Private resort on Sicily

We had a wonderful time in this well located home, only a short drive away from Siracusa. We have never been welcomed before with a delicious pasta-dish! Also first needs were provided: tea, coffee, water, toast, jam etc, even a bottle of wine. All very attentive. Stephania was helpful beforehand and gave us very useful information at our arrival, which really helped us to find our way and she was always reachable. The garden is a wonderful place to spend time in, it is always possible to find a sunny or shady place. The owner has placed sunbeds and good seating outside. The house was clean, the beds are comfortable, the livingroom annex kitchen is basic but the seating is pleasurable. Th contact with the owner was friendly. We would love to come back!

Lovely Stay with a Few Inconveniences

We recently stayed here and had an overall nice experience. The property itself is beautiful, clean, modern, and well-maintained. The garden and pool were definitely highlights, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We especially appreciated the air conditioning and the quality facilities, which made our stay comfortable. However, there were a few inconveniences that we feel could be improved. One strange issue was that the lights automatically switched off at 11:50 p.m. every night, leaving us in complete darkness in the garden and communal area after midnight with no control over it. This was quite unsettling. Additionally, the parking arrangement was a bit odd. Even though there was space near our gate, we had to park further away from the property, which was inconvenient, especially when carrying bags. We also noticed that the kitchen tap didn’t have much hot water, making it difficult to wash dishes. Another thing to mention is that we weren’t informed that the property owner would be checking the pool every morning. The first day, she came in unexpectedly while we were still in the house, which was a bit intrusive. While we understand the need for pool maintenance, a quick message beforehand would have been appreciated. All in all, despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the welcoming ambiance and the beautiful surroundings. With a few adjustments, this place could be perfect!

Mi dispiace per l'inconveniente dell'acqua calda in cucina che scorreva lentamente se durante il soggiorno mi avrebbe avvisato , avrei subito fatto sistemare dal tecnico ...come ho fatto subito dopo il vostro soggiorno. Per quanto riguarda il parcheggio 15 mt a piedi non è una distanza chilometrica , non vietato mai di poter scaricare i bagagli o i vostri acquisti giornalieri parcheggiando vicino al piccolo cancello di ingresso per poi rimettere la macchina nel parcheggio. La strada viene usata dai collaboratori per carico e scarico merce. Le luci esterne hanno un Timer perché non tutti gradiscono la luce fino a notte fonda quindi dobbiamo mediare e in ultimo diciamo sempre all'arrivo che le piscine vengono controllate la mattina perché facciamo le analisi all'acqua e sistemiamo di cloro e livello acqua se occorre....forse durante il check in era troppo stanca per ascoltare tutto quello che dicevo.

Lage, wie von uns gewünscht, am Stadtrand von Syrakus, Kücheneinrichtung einfach, aber alles so weit vorhanden. Gartenanlage Pool zur alleinigen Benutzung super !!2 Schafzimmer und auch 2 Bäder. Die Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles in Allem schöne und erholsame Tage in diesem Appartement.

Très bon séjour à Syracuse ! La maison est propre et agréable, avec la climatisation dans chaque pièce. L'extérieur est génial avec les arbres, la terrasse et la grande piscine rien que pour nous. Wir hatten 2 Wochen bei Vanessa und ihrem Sohn Lorenzo verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit Vanessa erfolgt unkompliziert per whatsapp. Beim Check-in sind 100 Euro bar Kaution, Touristensteuer (pro Erwachsenem 1/Tag) fällig. Für Check in nach 20 Uhr wird ein Aufpreis von 20 euro fällig, warum auch immer (diese Zahlen findet man nicht auf fewo).Das Haus befindet sich auf einem Areal mit 2 weiteren Häusern, jedes Haus in sich uneinsehbar mit eigenem Pool. Das Auto steht auch sicher, da das Grundstück durch ein Tor abschließbar ist. Das Haus an sich ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Fotos der Küche entsprechen nicht der Realität (statt weißer Küche ist es eine graue Küchenzeile). Es gibt einen Ofen/Gasherd, leider sehr wenig Abstellfläche, dürftig ausgestattet und leider waren die Pfannen und Töpfe in einem nicht so guten Zustand (lose Henkel), aber es ging irgendwie. Einfach zu behebene Mängel (kaputte Toilettenbrillen, verkalkte Duschköpfe (auch am Pool), knarrende Betten, durchgelegene Matratzen, Ameisen im Haus, kaputter Kühlschrank schmälerten ein wenig das Urlaubsgefühl. Alles in allem irgendwie OK. Vanessa war wirklich zauberhaft, hatte für uns bei Anreise einen Nudelsalat und Wasser vorbereitet. Das war toll. Auch sonst konnten wir sie sofort erreichen. Der Pool wird jeden Morgen von ihr oder Lorenzo nur kontrolliert, aber nicht gereinigt. Das passierte erst nachdem wir nachgefragt hatten. Lidl ist ca 10 min entfernt. Man braucht definitiv ein Auto.

I usually don't respond to negative reviews because they're part of the growth of a property, but I really want to respond to this one. Regarding the toilet lids, the broken one was the only one, and I also explained that since it was the week of August 15th, I couldn't find a technician who could help me, nor did I find a replacement part. The pan that was broken was the only one, and if the guests had notified me, I would have replaced it immediately instead of telling me on the day of check-out. Regarding the security deposit and tourist tax, everything is written on vrbo, the portal where the house is listed. For your safety, the vrbo website also sent you an email before your arrival clarifying everything. The kitchen was replaced because we improved the quality, but I forgot to change the photo. And then the pool, the pool was and is checked every morning, often while you were sleeping, because if we come too late, we risk finding you in the water, so it's not possible to clean it. When you asked us to clean it, it was because an inflatable mattress left in the water blocked the water passage to the motor filter. Therefore, the pool and its motor were not filtering properly, causing us damage. However, we didn't complain, and we resolved it without any argument. I'm very sorry about this review because when you left, you told me everything was perfect and you were sorry to leave. In fact, I don't quite understand.

Tolle Unterkunft für einen Familienaufhalt

Die Wohnung ist perfekt für 4 Personen, die helle Wohnküche kann gut als Aufenthaltsraum genutzt werden. Der Pool ist traumhaft und ausreichend groß. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge nach Siracusa, Ragusa, Nori, Taimuna. Einziger Nachteil: man braucht für alles ein Auto, da die Straßen keine Gehwege haben und stark befahren sind.

Magnifiques vacances à Syracuse. Vanessa est une hôte très prévenante et sympathique. La maison est accueillante et agréable à vivre et bien sûr la piscine est un vrai plus surtout pour les enfants ! Top Haus mit idealer Lage

Wir haben unsere Zeit im Haus sehr genossen. Es war sehr sauber und alles ist in einem guten renovierten Zustand. Der Garten ist super, komplett privat und uneinsehbar. Pool, Liegen und Gartenmöbel waren top. Die Lage ist unschlagbar um Syrakus und den Großteil der Ostküste zu erkunden. Vanessa ist eine super Gastgeberin, war immer erreichbar und sowohl beim Check-In und -Out anwesend. Sie hat weitere Privathäuser auf dem Grundstü k, ideal also für mehrere Familien.

Erholung unter Palmen am Pool

Das Ferienhaus ist schön und ruhig inmitten von Zitronenfeldern gelegen. Bei unserer Ankunft hatte uns Vanessa begrüßt und mit allen hilfreichen Informationen versorgt. Sie hatte uns außerdem den Kühlschrank mit Getränken und einem leckeren Nudelsalat gefüllt. Vanessa war während unseres Aufenthalts für uns jederzeit schnell über Handy erreichbar. Wir haben die 2 Wochen in diesem Feriendomizil sehr genossen. Die Ausstattung war gut. Alles war wir brauchten, war da. Besonders gefallen hat uns der herrliche Pool, der super gepflegt war (bisher der Beste den wir erlebt haben).

Schöne Unterkunft, nur wenige Minuten von Siracusa entfernt. Sehr schöner, nicht einsehbarer Außenbereich für gemütliche Stunden am Pool. Als die Waschmaschine erst nicht ging, war Vanessa sofort zur Stelle und hat sich gekümmert. Auto unbedingt nötig.
