About this property

Aletraki Hill House, Nature, Sea & City Views

Off-Grid Hilltop Aletraki Retreate

A Home That Feels Like Crete Itself
This is more than a place to stay, it is an invitation to truly connect with the soul of Crete.

Our bright and spacious 167m² home sleeps 8 to 10 guests, with four bedrooms each opening onto its own private deck surrounded by olive and pomegranate trees, and four bathrooms. Powered by solar energy, with a high-quality water filtration system and premium beds, every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of.

Perched on the foothills of Mount Juchtas, the views stretch across two mountain ranges and the entire bay of Heraklion, with both sunrise and sunset visible from your own terrace.

Step outside and hiking trails begin right at the front door, through a protected nature reserve rich with wildflowers, wild birds, and Cretan wildlife. History is equally close, the ancient Minoan site of Knossos is just five minutes away by car.

End each day on the terrace with a glass of local wine and Cretan cheese as the sun melts into the hills.

This is not just a holiday. It is an unforgettable experience of Cretan life, nature, and history, one that will stay with you long after you leave.
