The gite was exactly as described, the hosts Ricky and Karen are delightful and very friendly. It was a shame that the fishing lake was out of commission, but the owners warned me in advance, and even offered me the chance to cancel. The area is beautiful, so not fishing was a good excuse to get out and explore. Only little observation was that a microwave would be a useful edition, as a widower ,I'm not big on catering,so picked up some frozen microwavable ready meals, but , managed to do them justice using the oven!
