The host had to make a last minute change to our location due to new vacation rental regulations in Madrid, but it did not affect our stay. The apartment was spacious and centrally located. We enjoyed our stay! The host, MadFlats, was easy to communicate with and the apartment was clean and well-appointed.

The apartment was nicely located and the process for check in and out was quite easy.

The apartment was clean and well suited for us. The location was nice and centrally located to many food/ entertainment options. Madflats was easy to deal with as well.

The apartment was about 20 minutes away from most major tourist sites. Near by cafes, an array of restaurants and a convenience store. Clean and enjoyable apartment!

Perfect Location

Flat was as described online. Close to metro and walking distance to sites we wanted to see. It had all the kitchen items we needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We would choose to stay there again.

Good Location!

Family of four stayed 3 nights for first trip to Madrid. We thought it was a good location and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Property was clean, bathroom very nice and washer had a dryer - which was helpful. Only thing missing was coffee provided. This is our 4th VRBO in country and only one that did not provide. We would stay again!

The apartment was exactly as advertised: clean and comfortable. Very close to two Metro stations and an interesting neighborhood with many restaurants and grocery stories (as noted by others, there were not K-pods in the apt for coffee, we made a quick trip to the nearby market for coffee pods). The only glitch for us was how to operate the washer/dryer which is different than our US machines (a quick google of the washer/dryer manual helped us to figure it out). We highly recommend!

Exploring Madrid

The Royal Madrid is well located near public transit. It is a clean, modern and comfortable flat with ample storage. The pre-visit check in was cumbersome but we appreciated the ability to check in early. The flat is beautifully furnished but the kitchen is sparsely equipped. There was limited toilet paper and towels and promised supplies were never provided. Overall, we had a great experience.

Nice but skimp on the extras

The property was relatively well maintained, clean and had modern amenities. We were comfortable with three people in the space. There is the minimum amount of dishes, glasses, toilet paper, nespresso pods, ice cube trays, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, shampoo and soap. For example, we had 2 nespresso pods included for a group of 3 people staying 4 nights/days. It's 2 Euro for a pack of 10 pods so it's not the expense rather the lack of trying to meet the needs of the guests. I've stayed in over a dozen VRBO's and this is the least amount of the items above I've ever experienced considering the number of people and length of stay.

Super emplacement

L’appartement est vraiment très bien situé, le quartier est très vivant et animé mais pas trop de bruit pour la nuit. C’était très propre et le lit est vraiment confortable. On a communiqué avec nous la journée de notre arrivée pour s’avoir si tout était ok pour nous. Je le recommande fortement à tous.
