Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. External utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and storage for bikes. . Garden with sitting-out area. Public car park, permit for 1 car included, 400 metres away. No smoking. Please note: No children under 5 years old. There are 13 steps in the garden and a drop to next door’s drive.. Situated looking out over the idyllic village of Grassington and the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Rooftops combines cottage charm and character with very good quality accommodation. Enjoy lazy mornings in bed taking in the views, cosy up in front of the fireplace or soak up the sunshine amongst the flowers in bloom in the wonderfully landscaped garden.
The main square of Grassington is just yards away, it’s cobbled streets draped in colourful bunting and dotted with lovely independent shops, tearooms and friendly pubs. There is plenty to see and do here, with events hosted throughout the year such as the Grassington Festival in late summer hosting live music, family workshops and art, the 1940’s weekend and Dickensian Festival to help you get into the Christmas spirit. For those seeking stunning scenery away from the hustle and bustle, there are many wonderful walks from your door taking you along the riverside and across the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales with some of the most spectacular walking routes in the country and many a good country pub. There is ample bike storage for cyclists who will love the winding country lanes and undulating hills, many of which feature on the Tour De Yorkshire route.
Just a short drive away is the market town of Skipton, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, with a great selection of shops and cafés alongside delightful bars and restaurants which are dotted along cobbled streets. Enjoy the scenery from a different perspective on board a barge chugging along the Leeds Liverpool canal that runs through.
