the Joys of the Kingdom fo Fife

the cottage was very cold on arrival, we were unable to get the heating to work due to a fault, we contacted the number supplied, a plumber came in 30 minutes problem solved. The front door which is a the side, it is very difficult to open and close we got it eventually but does need some adjustment. Everything else was lovely would not stop us from staying again. Than you.

An absolute winner!

My family of three adults thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Old Paint Shop apartment. It is so cool, very comfortable, beautifully decorated, perfectly clean, excellent location being right in with fun shops, Co-op grocery, the beach and breathtaking water's edge with great bakeries, coffee and lots of eateries. Communication with owner was perfect. My family highly recommends staying here.

Beautiful and fun

We three drove from the Cairngorm mountains to Anstruther by the sea and found the change of scenery a feast for the senses! Allan’s place is beautiful and sparkling clean as well. It’s close to shopping and gorgeous views of the sea wall. The cottage is right next to a busy 2 lane road but we have noise maker apps on our phones which help with sleeping. We had lovely weather to enjoy our boat trip to the Isle of May where there are thousands of birds including adorable puffins. Be sure to make reservations in advance so you don’t miss out and take a jacket. Also reserve a table at “The Bank” located just across the street…you won’t be disappointed!

The Old Paint Shop, Anstruther

Beautiful well equipped apartment close to all amenities. The only issue albeit small, the apartment was on a very busy road and it was a bit noisy at times. However, this would not deter us from booking again.

This property is perfect and the photos don’t do it justice! By far the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in, amazing location and everything you need for a home away from home trip. Have already recommended this property and will be sure to book again.
