About this property
Nature's Paradise in a Riverfront Cabin! Tranquil Setting & Endless Outdoor Fun!
Escape to our charming cabin on the Little Manistee River, the ultimate Up North Getaway. With hilltop views and private river access, it’s the perfect spot to unwind after outdoor adventures—or simply enjoy the serene surroundings right from the backyard. Nestled in Michigan’s Outdoor Paradise, you're minutes away from fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowmobiling.
Our cabin sits on 223' of prime fishing riverfront, offering easy access to salmon, steelhead, and trout fishing right from the backyard (ALL fishing closed Jan 1-Mar 31). Enjoy riverside campfires, bird watching, and yard games on our secluded acre of land. Relax on the back deck or covered porch with beautiful river views. The picnic area includes a propane Blackstone grill—perfect for cooking up your catch or grilling some local bratwurst from the famous Dublin Store.
Inside, you’ll find a cozy, rustic space with updated knotty pine, an open floor plan, and a fully stocked kitchen. The propane stove mimics the charm of a wood-burning fireplace, and the walkout deck is ideal for relaxing with treehouse-like views. Our newly updated bathroom includes a washer/dryer for your convenience. The cabin has two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with a full. The pullout couch offers additional sleeping space if needed. Past guests will be pleased to know that the well was replaced in 2024, offering improved water pressure. We have also added a window a/c unit for the warmer months.
With easy access to the river for kayaking, fishing, or swimming, plus nearby canoe liveries for rentals, you can make the most of your time outdoors. For non-motorized adventure, you’re minutes from the Big M Trailhead-perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. For motorized activities, we're less than 10 miles from ORV trailheads like Big O, Little O, Tin Cup, and Lincoln Hills.
Located close to Ludington, Manistee, Cadillac, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City, our cabin is the perfect base for your Northern Michigan adventures. Plus, there’s plenty of space for vehicles, boats, or ORV trailers in our pull through drive.
Come for the adventure, stay for the relaxation!

About the host
Hosted by Rosanna Gestwicki

We have a love for traveling and love to explore new areas. The use of vacation rentals changed the way we traveled so much, that it sparked a desire for us to create that same great experience for others. We've learned from each of our stays, just what makes for a great rental, and we're excited to offer that to others with our cabin in Michigan. Our weekends are always spent enjoying the beautiful Michigan Outdoors-fishing, kayaking, camping, hiking, love it all.
Why they chose this property
We often joked in our weekend adventures that "all roads lead to Baldwin". It seemed that every campground, river, lake, or hiking trail we sought out was located in Lake County. On our latest adventure, buying a cabin, we gravitated right nearby, proving that all roads really did lead Baldwin. This area is the center for all of the outdoor activities that Michigan has to offer. With our love for the outdoors and exploring, the cabin is the perfect retreat and a great place for day trips to surrounding areas.
What makes this property unique
We fell in love with the seclusion and amount of riverfront this cabin has. Watching the Salmon in the river from the kitchen window was an added bonus and the newly remodeled interior provides a cozy space with great views for those chilly nights.
