DETAILS:

Enjoy this three bedroom, one and a half bathroom condo with friends or family. Villagio #C244 sleeps up to six guests comfortably. Lounge on your private balcony and listen to the waves cascade over the shore or head down to the beach to get that famous Florida tan. Later, head into town to enjoy local eateries and attractions. Free WiFi is included.

Villagio is located near three different public beach access points. There are two county access points, one is to the east, .2 mile away and the other is to the west at .5 mile. The county access locations have parking and there are no fees to use.

The Gulf Islands National Seashore (specifically Johnson's Beach), is only .5 mile east of the property. This national park charges an entrance fee that varies based on length of time (weekly/yearly). Prices are $15/week per car or $30/annual pass which also cover other gulf island parks. Pavilions, showers, nature trails, a kayak launch site, gulf and inter-coastal access, restrooms and seasonal lifeguards are available at Johnson's Beach.

Great location and great amenities!

The property is great. The Villagio Town Center has some great shops and restaurants. The drive to the public beach is short and easy and there was plenty of parking. The only downside is that the public beach is very limited on space. We were fortunate to be able to purchase chair setups at the adjacent resort to the public beach, so that made the beach days awesome!

Great place next to shops and restaurants. Only negative thing I can say is the mattresses being cover in plastic is highly annoying. Other than that it was nice.

Very nice condo. Well decorated and clean. Equipped with everything you need !

Only 2 negatives. The beds are not very comfortable and the beach access is a little of a walk. But overall this is a very nice place to stay. Beaches are beautiful , great places to eat and visit. Will definitely return.

Family Fall Getaway

Beautiful condo. Very clean. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you need to cook with. Beds were comfortable. Only complaints are that the dining table chairs were difficult to get in and out of and the water pressure in the shower was weak. Besides that it was a wonderful stay.

Good location and nice condo!!

Good location, driving to public beach access was no more than 2 min. Condo was very clean and we loved our view from the balconies (not beach view but still beautiful). Kitchen had all cooking utensils anyone may need. Only reason I don’t rate it 5 stars is that washer did not drain.

Cozy beach condo

This condo fit or needs perfectly. Everything we needed was there. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. We were very close to the beach. The condo is in a series of buildings that included shops restaurants and a great ice cream shop. Everything wad clean and comfortable. The only negatives was not much water pressure in the shower and the outside lights illuminated the living room well into the night (not convenient for anyone sleeping on the sofa). Overall we had a great trip

Short stay in Perdido Key condo

Condo was nicely situated in area with shops, restaurant etc, just a short walk across the road to the beach (beach was not packed which was much appreciated). Parking at the condo location was easy and there was an elevator and stairs to access the second floor on which the condo was located. Condo was clean and brightly decorated, kitchen was well appointed. The bedroom set up worked well for our family/friend group of five ( including two older sons), plus one extra family friend. It was useful to have the extra half bath too. Just bear in mind that you do need to take shampoo and hairdryer with you if needed, and there are no kitchen basics such as oil, salt and pepper etc. Overall this condo worked well for our family needs and represented good value for money in my opinion.

Perfect place!

This little place was perfect for the 7 of us. Yes it’s small but very cozy. The whole place was very clean when we got there and we made sure it was clean before we checked out. We had no complaints. It was super close to the beaches. It’s also very close to Gulf Shores Alabama, we were able to go and enjoy the gulf shores zoo and several different food places. There is also an arcade close by and a movie theater. It’s also only a short drive to Walmart, we bought groceries and stocked the kitchen for the week so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances! The beds are also comfortable and the couch pulls out as well. I recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere quit and close to the beach. We had no noise issues, everyone was very quiet. It’s away from the main road so there wasn’t even any traffic noise. Thank you for letting us stay! I will be sure to give your information to anyone looking to stay close to your location.

Spring Break Vacay

The property manager walked in on us on our first day. He didn't know that we had already arrived? The couch is small, old, low, and squeaky. The beds are very hard, small, low. These beds had to have been full size at best. There's just no way to tell how big or small the furniture is by the pictures online. Thanks to the neighbors we smelled marijuana daily. However we did enjoyed our stay and the area. Because of the beds I cannot stay here again. We have to have a comfortable bed to sleep in. My husband is 6'5 and the beds just did not suffice. He was miserable the whole time. On a positive note customer service was awesome. They communicated with me the whole entire time and they were prompt about responding to any questions that we had. I would book through Go Southern again just not at this same property. Standalone properties are better when you have kids. Thanks

Great stay overall, but beach access was difficult and ran out of tp and garbage bags!

Great view of the wetlands from our balcony, which we loved. The location was great as well and the condo itself was very convenient and cozy. However, we were surprised at how difficult it was to access the beach from the Villagio complex. The description mentioned that we have beach access, but according to Southern Rentals, we have to walk down to the public beach access a good walk down from the complex. We honestly didn't know where to go. I highly recommend that management provide guests with beach access directions and/or a map if it's not an intuitive thing. We also found a surprising lack of attention paid to the unit's cleanliness especially considering that we paid a non-refundable $200 cleaning fee to stay here. We found old to-go containers under the bed and a pair of dirty underwear by the washing machine (yeah...). Even worse, we were only given one trash bag, which we quickly filled and then had to scramble to find plastic shopping bags to use for the next two days. We also ran out of toilet paper after the second day. The condo holds eight people, so I think they should stock more supplies for a party of seven that are staying for four days. Despite all that, the location is great but could use a bit more consideration for the guests, especially for that exorbitant cleaning cost.

Great location

We really enjoyed having a great restaurant The JellyFish and the many child friendly shops in the shopping center . We never got in the car the whole trip except to go to the beach The condo was surprisingly quite with a nice back porch with woodland views . Nice and clean , the kitchen had everything we needed .

Wonderful Stay

We had a family of 7 staying at this lovely condo and we were quite comfortable. The layout made the place seem quite roomy. The condo was spotlessly clean. While it is not right on the beach, it is across the street and beach access was easy. Great complex close to shops and dining. We had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Short vacation

It was a short vacation. We had a gap of days booked with VRBO, lack of experience on our part probably. Luckily we brought a cart to haul luggage and one is needed to go to beach. If there is one for condo, we didn’t see it. Very clean place, loved the shops, Jellyfish restaurant, ice cream shop and little town center. Very convenient

Great time.

Overall property was nice. Cutely decorated. Still had sand in some places but not bad. Beaches are close by but not in walking distance if you are bringing a lot of stuff. The two big beds are not very comfortable and very noisy with the mattress covers sounding like plastic bags every time you move.

Comfortable condo with close beach access, and the access to ice cream shop made it fun.

The condo is located just across the street from the beach and we really enjoyed that there there was exclusive in and out access, since we didn't want to stay in a big property where a lot of people are touching elevator buttons and doors. The unit was the perfect size with all the right amenities - at a good price.

It was perfect!

Plenty of room for a family of five. Beautifully decorated in a beach theme. Full kitchen and a washer and dryer! The washer and dryer was a lifesaver! We went home with clean clothes! The beds were very comfy with nice linens and great pillows. It is a short walk to the white sand and emerald water. There are shops and restaurants within the resort. Gift shop employees were very friendly and helpful. Short drive to Pensacola Air Museum and Lighthouse. We truly loved it and the only thing that we didn't like was, a lot of light from the passageway gets in the front room. Maybe black out curtains or a dark solar screen. We look forward to returning!
