Welcome to Ewyn Y Mor - pronounced 'Air-win uh More', it's the perfect choice for family and friend groups looking for a contemporary holiday home in the heart of Rhosneigr.

The generously proportioned property is set over three floors, sleeping 14 guests in six bedrooms. The interior is beautifully refurbished with plenty of contemporary features and heaps of extras to ensure you want for nothing during your stay.

What you should know: All of the bedrooms are located on the upper floors, so not ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs.



Ground-floor living

A gravel driveway sits to the side of the house and from here you enter into the main open hallway, which features double-height ceilings up to the first-floor gallery, a feature fireplace and lovely flagstone tile flooring.

To the left, there is an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen diner with an impressive central island that doubles up as an American-style diner area with high stool seating.

Grab a glass of wine and prepare meals together while you catch up on the latest news and gossip. Or set up a picnic-style lunch for your hungry little ones when they get back from the beach.

The kitchen also features heaps of workspace along both walls, a gallery cushioned bench underneath the window, a drinks cooler, coffee machine, a huge fridge and separate freezer, and lots more!

There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and dryer and a boot room where you can hang up muddy boots and sandy gear or wetsuits from the beach. There is also a separate downstairs shower and guest toilet room here.

From the hallway, double doors open into a wonderfully spacious family living room; bright and characterful with wood flooring, an electric fire for cosy autumn/winter stays, and loads of sofa space to stretch out in front of the flat-screen Smart TV.

From the lounge, there is an alcove dining area that is flooded with natural light. Patio doors lead out to the private lawned and patio garden area with a picnic bench. This is brilliantly planned so the kids can eat and play outside while you keep your eye on them from the dining table.



Sleeping arrangements

To the right of the main hallway the split level staircase leads up to the first-floor gallery and onto the second floor.

Ewyn Y Mor's bedrooms are all located on these upper floors. They are all extremely spacious, bright and airy, featuring built-in wardrobes and radiators, and some have beautiful sea views. Which one will you bag?


First floor bedrooms:

One large double bedroom with beautiful roll top bed, built-in wardrobes and boasting lovely sea views.

A second double bedroom with built-in wardrobes.

On the other side of the hallway, we have two family bunk bedrooms, perfect for the children to take over as their own during your stay. Both have triple bunk beds with a double underneath and single above and built-in wardrobes.

On the first floor, there is a gorgeous family bathroom with a roll-top bath, walk-in shower, His and Hers double washbasins and a WC.


Second floor bedrooms:

Double en suite bedroom with lovely roll top bed, there is lots of built-in wardrobe space in this bedroom and it features a Juliette balcony with a sea view in the distance The en suite bathroom has a shower over bath, wash basin, WC, towel heater and skylight.

Who is Ewyn Y Mor for?

With two triple bunk bedrooms and a private safe garden, Ewyn Y Mor is ideal for family groups holidaying with children who will love taking over the two family bunk bedrooms, and picnicking out on the lawn, while the grown-ups can watch safely from the main dining area.

We also welcome friend groups who are coming together for a reunion or celebration but we are not set up for stag or hen parties.


The Nitty Gritty
There is a maximum adult guest occupancy of 12. This property provides one travel cot and one high-chair only - We do not provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen. Ewyn Y Mor is pet friendly and welcomes 2 well-behaved dogs. Please remember to bring your own poo bags and be vigilant in cleaning up after your furry friends. All properties have a Welcome Folder to help familiarise guests with the property, the local area and the island All of our properties comply with all Fire Safety Regulations We've invested in our own laundry unit, providing hotel quality satin white towels and bed linens for each of our properties.

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It's a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday. And so that you don't have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons) and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just five minutes drive from Rhosneigr village!

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
