The owner made contact with us before we arrived and wished us a happy holiday. The flat is on the first floor of a house made into four flats. The outside of the building could do with a powerwash or coat of paint but don't let that put you off. The flat is absolutely lovely. Spotlessly clean, everything looks new. Lovely bathroom with super shower and heated towel rail. Incredibly thick bath and hand tail provided for each guest, lovely comfortable beds made up wth
white bedding. There were biscuits, milk, tea bags, sugar snd coffee in the cupboards. It was also a treat to have a provided parking space. It was warm and cosy and I'd recommend it to anyone, reasonably priced too for peak season. The only downside, which wasnt a problem for us but might be for some, was the sraircase leading up to the flat. I'm nearly 70 and managed it fine. There's a well stocked local shop, a lovely bakers and a good Chinese within walking distance. We had a lovely meal at The Ship Inn, really nice food, thoroughly recommend. Another night we ate at The Bear, meal was the same price but food was horrible, no comparison at all to The Ship. We had a lovely week and would definitely return.
