Great location just a block from a rail connection made it easy to get places. Shopping nearby made it perfect for a meal at home. Salerno is hilly, and this was towards the top of the hill, so barring the train it takes some effort. The apartment had good access with an elevator and no stairs to get in. The shower in the bathroom was a bit tight, and the second bath only had a toilet. Temperature control was very good.
Eddy and Valeria were wonderful!!!!! Eddie helped us call for taxis when we needed to catch a ferry and a train to the airport. He was cordial and so friendly and helpful. Their apartment had great air conditioning and it was a short walk down to coffee and restaurants thank you again!
The hosts were very helpful in anything that we needed. The location was perfect for us because we used the train for all our travels and the apartment is less than five minutes away by walking. The apartment had everything that you needed for sleeping and cooking. The apartment is about ten minutes or less walking distance to any restaurant.

This location is fantastic if you want to stay away from the tourist areas. Still close enough to walk around though. The 'Quality on the Table' grocers nearby is fantastic. Lots of quality cafes and meal options. The property was a little haven during our Salerno stay.
We enjoyed visiting Salerno. The apartment was in a great location for walking or taking a train. There was a market about a block away for basic grocery needs. There are restaurants and gelato shops all over.
Very nice and big flat, well equipped. Historical city centre few minutes walk and the bay area is not far either. Due to the nearby train stop we had an easy access to travel which was a nice surprise. We did not have any problems at all. Perfect local pizza take away place nearby 🙂

Grazie mille Szilard, spero vorrete tornare a trovarci!
The appt was excellent , clean and well equipped only thing it would benefit from was some mirrors in the bedroom. Valeria was lovely , helpful with advice on how to get to places and were to eat. Situation was great beside the railway station but quiet. Would recommend it as great place to stay
Hosts were thoughtful, congenial, responsive. Apartment was light, spacious and ideally located, both for Salerno itself, and for access to local and regional transportation. Highly recommended.
Salerno amazed us so cute and quaint! The property was clean and spacious. May have misread listing but one of the rooms was the common room with the kitchen. But honestly everything was perfect! The host was super communicative and kind. Met us at property and gave us a good run down of the town. The rooms where beautiful and the location was great to the downtown area and even the harbor. Would highly recommend staying here!
We enjoyed our vacation on the Amalfi coast. The apartment was perfectly situated and very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. We had one small incident with the washer and Valeria was quick to come and help us. If I was coming back to Salerno again I would definitely stay here. Ciao

Grazie Dave, anche noi vi abbiamo apprezzato tanto, siete stati ospiti perfetti!!! Vi aspetto di nuovo a braccia aperte.
This is a lovely apartment in a great location. It is close to the historic centre and the cathedral, and is walking distance (20 minutes) to the ferry port for departures to the Amalfi Coast.) Nice shops nearby. The host was very helpful and quick to reply to messages - she advised us that during our stay there was a procession for the saint of Salerno, which was fantastic! The only thing I have scored down is the description in the listing. It is shown as a three bedroom apartment, but the third bedroom is a sofa bed in the kitchen diner, not a separate bedroom. Also, Bedroom 3, which is shown as two single beds, was made up as a double, which did not appeal to my two grown up children. In fairness, the host sorted this very quickly - we arrived late and by the time we woke up in the morning, she had already dropped off bedding for sofa bed. Great service.
Valeria’s apartment was a lovely location for a stay in Salerno. Though it is several floors up, there is an elevator to take you there. The check-in is contactless and seamless. The rooms were lovely and the kitchen had everything we could have needed. I would recommend this location for travelers that are taking public transportation and not necessarily driving themselves. Though there are paid parking and parking garages, it was a little difficult to find something nearby (to be fair we ended up unexpectedly visiting on a celebration week. Thank you Valeria for a great stay.
Valeria's art apartment is far more spacious than it looks on the images, with a generous main bedroom, good sized bathroom and a second bedroom with a wonderful view.
It's a very short walk to the train station, which takes you to the places you wish to go (Pompeii is less than half an hour and Vietri Sul Mare on the Amalfi coast is one stop).
It's also on the edge of the old part of Salerno, which is massively underrated. Lots of atmosphere at night.

Grazie davvero per la vostra bella recensione, è stato un piacere accogliervi!
We spent a very nice week in July with five people in this apartment. The apartment is very attractively furnished, pleasantly cool, equipped with everything you need, and in a beautiful, convenient location - city beach, old town, bars, supermarket, etc. are all within easy walking distance; the harbor and train station are also not far away. Salerno is a very pretty city and a good starting point for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Our host helped us upon arrival (we arrived early) and was quick and very kind with tips and assistance whenever we had difficulties. Thanks again for everything!
This is a beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped flat near the city center of Salerno. The landlords are very kind and helpful. You find supermarkets, fish-shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars within a few minutes walking distance from the flat. The flat is located close to a regional train station from which Salerno central station can be reached in minutes. We enjoyed our stay in Salerno very much as the city is not only beautiful but also perfectly located for day-trips to Pompei, Napoli, Amalfi, or Paestum.

Grazie davvero, siamo lieti che siate stati bene, spero davvero di ospitarvi nuovamente.
Overall, we (2 adults + 2 small kids) enjoyed the apartment and stay. If planning to walk from train station; just know that it is a bit of uphill walk but for normal adults; the 20mins is fine. With kids smaller than 7-9 might be a bit challenging. We love the mini market that is 5 houses down for small groceries. If you are planning to cook in the apartment, there are not many amenities so prepare to buy them yourselves.

Good evening, we are pleased that the guests enjoyed their stay. I just don't understand what other equipment the guest might need since the apartment has a complete set of ceramic plates for 12 people, bowls and serving plates; pots and pans of different sizes, different baking trays, scales for weighing food, strainer, utensils for whipping cream, toaster, coffee maker, boiler and more. Many guests have stayed for very long periods and not only have they never complained about anything, but on the contrary they have always underlined the full functionality of the house. Frankly it seems to me to be a rather misleading and also quite malicious review, to the extent that it only emphasizes negative aspects which are not objectively detectable. By the way, I had suggested to Ana to take a taxi to get the apartment since the metro station of Via Vernieri close to my apartment is temporarily out of service.
Comfortable apartment with a serviceable kitchen. No microwave and little hot water for dishes. The shower had hot water. Washing machine is old and rusty on outside and the door doesn’t fully open because of the bidet. Just be careful using it. It does clean!
Smart TV in bedroom only.
Quiet location. It’s an easy stroll into the town center, train station and port, but a decent climb back up!
We were very comfortable in the apartment.
Salerno is great for day trips to Amalfi, Paestum and Pompei.

Art at Home was centrally located and fairly well set up. The check in process was a self check-in meaning the owner/property manager was living elsewhere and buzzed you into the apartment initially. There is a 2 person elevator that takes you up to the 5th floor, and you had call her again to get the code for the key box which had two sets of keys for the apartment. This allowed you enter the building and the apartment without having to contact the owner again. The apartment is advertised as 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, but in reality it is 2 bedroom apartment with a sofa-bed in the living room. The second bathroom is actually part of a relatively small laundry room with a washing machine. The apartment was very clean and was decorated with some lovely artwork which I believe was painted by the owner/property manager. Personally I prefer a face-to-face check-in, but we managed it fairly well. And if you are not a WhatsApp user I would recommend you get used to using it because that is the owner/property manager’s preferred way of communicating, as it is in most of Italy.

The apartment was nice, welcoming and cozy. The host was nice. There were three A/C units. One in each bedrooms and one in Livingroom.
The only down part was that A/C in one of bedrooms was not working and you can imagine how unpleasant the condition would be in July.
The host said she's been having a problem with that unit. I hope it gets fixed cause heat in that part of Italy in month of July and August is not bearable.
Delightful, central apartment with great amenities
My two friends, my partner, and myself stayed at Valeria's incredible apartment for 10 days. The space was clean, beautiful, functional, and had amenities that we had yet to experience at any of our stays thus far (a/c, dishwasher, washing machine, hot water boiler). The apartment was literally across the street from the regional rail, making it easy to take day trips to Vietri, Pompeii, and other areas in the region affordably. Valeria and Edmondo were incredible hosts who gave us the best recommendations for food and activities in the area. Whenever we had a question they responded within the hour and were incredibly helpful. I can't recommend this space enough, and if I ever return to Salerno, this will be the spot I pick!
Thank you for everything, Valeria and Edmondo!
My husband Joe and I stayed here for three weeks while studying Italian in Italy. After the nightmare apartment we stayed at before, Art at Home was our own slice of paradise in Salerno! Spacious rooms, kitchen, air conditioning, lift, WiFi that actually works, air conditioning, clothes washer, dish washer, and did I mention that they have air conditioning?!? Awesome home! Close to a local train station/metro, but easy walking distance to the beach and the centro storico. The hosts were more than gracious. They were super helpful and responded promptly to any request we had. The apartment itself is decorated with beautiful artwork. It's clear that the artist has an amazing sense of space and color. I particularly liked the two pieces in the bedroom. It was delightful to surrounded by art while relaxing in an amazing place.
