Beautiful beach condo

This condo was perfect for our family. Incredible views and easiest beach access. The beach is quiet and the pool was great for he kids. The balcony was our favorite place to hang out.Sonia responded quickly and was available to help.We loved our stay

We were wowed by the modern and spacious design of this holiday condo. The open concept living room and dining room with massive sliding glass doors open to a veranda that offers amazing views of the pool, beach and the Gulf of Mexico! It is the perfect place to gather and relax, feel the breeze, listen to the waves and watch the pelicans glide back and forth. The lovely basket of goodies from our attentive host Sonia made us feel warmly welcomed. The well maintained condo had everything we needed. It was a pleasure to cook in a clean, fully outfitted kitchen and all three bedrooms had their own ensuite.There are only a few sun loungers available by the pool and beach, but the big pool patio has lots of tables and chairs along with an outdoor wet bar, outdoor showers and bathroom facilities. Our host also provided us with the use of a Weber charcoal grill that we made good use of on the beach patio.In the quiet village of Chicxulub there are a few small independent corner stores and several modern OXXO chain convenience stores. Nearby Progreso offers a number of beachfront restaurants and bars, and several warehouse-type stores including a Walmart.We were delighted with our stay at this picture-perfect property. The combination of beautiful surroundings, attentive hosting, and well-appointed accommodations made for a truly memorable holiday. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway on the Emerald Coast.

Great beach front property at a great value with amazing ocean views. Sonia is a great host, very accommodating, quick to reply, and always making sure you are feeling at home as her guest. Would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Amazing Stay

Sonia has a wonderful property. The apartment was clean, modern and had everything we could want for our stay. The beach views from the apartment are amazing. Sonia was always available and communicated very well with us. It is a 10-15 minute walk to town where we found lots of great food and great people. We will be happy to come back and stay again.

Excellent Beachfront Vacation!

What a beautiful property!!! Exactly as advertised, very clean and comfortable beds! Truly 10/10 sitting on the balcony enjoying the view of the gulf. Only hicccup we had, we didn’t receive any check in instructions….. had to reach out to VRBO help desk to help us connect with owner via WhatsApp. But once we were finally able to reach her, she was very quick to respond and even left us fresh fruit and water as we arrived quite late. Thanks for a wonderful 10 days… apartment is stunning!

Not a 4-bedroom apartment

The apartment is very pretty, clean, and well equipped. Having said that, this is NOT a 4-bedroom apartment! We felt cheated and taken advantage of because we really needed a 4-bedroom place. Being new year, we didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find a different apartment, so we stayed put and figured out how to reorganize ourselves in only 3 bedrooms. The fourth bedroom corresponds to the service room where the washer/dryer is located. There are no beds in this room, and even if there were a bed, I would never allow a guest of mine to sleep in a room not suitable for sleeping. By the way, if you expect the murphy beds to be real beds that collapse from the walls, these are not. What they call murphy beds are hammocks hanging from the walls.

Dear Lourdes, I am very sorry for the confusion that occurred. However, I want to reiterate that there was no cheating or taking advantage on my side. On the contrary, it seems that you didn't take the time to read the description of the apartment that I wrote in the ad, where I clearly mention that I have 3 bedrooms and a room for service personnel. Here in Mexico, it is common for people to travel with cleaning staff who stay overnight in that room. The Yucatec people, who are my main guests, sleep in hammocks, both the service personnel and the guests. That's why I have to mention in my ad that I have regular beds in 3 out of the 4 rooms and hammocks for sleeping. It is not a deception, but rather a tradition that we Yucatec people have of sleeping in hammocks, and I kindly ask you to respect this tradition. However, thanks to your feedback, I will clarify the type of room I have with future guests. Best regards!
