Pleasant Stay in Pretty Porto

This apartment suited my needs very well. I stayed for six nights and was very comfortable. Good location close to bus routes and subway and also good for those travelling on foot. Jose is a great host and easily available.

1. It is very convenient to walk to the city center within 20 minutes.2. There are too many homeless people around the apartment, which is a bit unsafe. 3. The kitchen range hood is broken.4. The reservation conditions say there is a washing machine in the apartment , but when we arrived, we found that there was no washing machine, so we had to take our clothes to the self-service laundromat to wash them.5. We were about to check out and needed to move our luggage. The elevator was broken, so we could only climb the stairs. If we met elderly people, we had to move our luggage down from the 4th floor. I don’t know how to deal with it?

Jose was a wonderful host. He made check in easy, checked on us during the stay to be sure all was going well, and helped us navigate the area. Communication was perfect! The apartment was clean and stylish, and matched the pictures online. The bed was comfortable and it had all the basic necessities. And the convenience of the location was excellent -- easily walkable to everything - shopping, restaurants, groceries, and very near the train station. The only reasons we didn't give it five stars were that the noise from the freeway was significant in the living room, and there was no air conditioning. So....it was a bit hard to relax in the living room given afternoon heat if we kept the windows closed, and noise if we had them open. The bedroom was quiet and comfortable, so we slept very well at night. Overall, it was a great stay at a very reasonable price! A bargain! Thank you Jose.
