Set in 3500m* of gardens with heated swimming pool and games, we provide the perfect setting for families or groups to relax and unwind. The ground floor includes a comfortable lounge diner with fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave and hob, plus a modern shower room. The first floor has 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin plus a toilet.

A beautiful house to stay in. We loved the mix between the old features of the house mixed with modern installations. Clare and Chris were inviting, warm and caring. Excellent attention to detail.

Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Bildern im Portal. Es war sauber. Chris und Clare hießen uns herzlich willkommen und führten uns gleich ins Haus. Man hat einen privaten Garten. Im unteren Bereich findet man ein kleines Bad (doch recht eng) mit Toilette und Waschbecken, eine Küche und eine Ess- und Sofaecke. Ins Bad führt eine Stufe. Die Schlafzimmer befinden sich im OG. Ein rechts mit Doppelbett und eins links mit zwei Einzelbetten. Dazwischen gibt es eine sep. Toilette mit süßer Waschgelegenheit über der Spülung. In das Zimmer mit den Einzelbetten gehen zwei Stufen hinab und im Doppelbettzimmer ist eine Aussparung (1 Stufe) wegen dem tiefen Fenster. Am Anfang roch es auch etwas muffig wenn man rein kommt. Auch hatten wir mehrmals Probleme mit kleinen Ameisen in der Küche. Chris hat sich sofort darum gekümmert. Erstausstattung war im Preis incl. Wir hatten einen zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt dort und es war richtig heiß 43 Grad und baten nach einer Woche um frische Bettwäsche. Diese mussten wir mit 15 Euro bezahlen. Ich hätte zwar waschen können, aber wo soll man die großen Teile aufhängen. Eine Wäscheleine oder Wäschespinne wäre von großem Vorteil. Es gab nur einen kleinen Wäscheständer. Oben die Böden und die Treppe ist halt alles aus Holz. Es knarrt halt alles. Wenn da nachts jemand aufsteht ist das ganze Haus wach. Bei den Temperaturen ist es oben unerträglich zu schlafen. Es gibt zwar Ventilator, doch der bringt nix. Das Besteck in der Küche könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen.

Thank you for your review, we are disappointed to read that there are elements you were not happy with when we had no impression that you had any issues during your stay. It is unfortunate that we had a 45 degree heatwave, temperatures we have never experienced in this area before. As a result in order to try to keep the gite cool we closed the windows and curtains during the day prior to your arrival. As mentioned to you, if you leave food and crumbs in the kitchen during a heatwave you will get a few ants but we dealt with this immediately and you had no further issues that we were aware of. It is a suprise that you didn't like the wooden floors and staircase, something we consider a traditional feature to our gite. Whilst a couple of the stairs do creak a little, the floors do not. As for the cutlery, everything is cleaned thoroughly through the dishwasher before your check in. As it wasn't pointed out to us at the time it is difficult for us to comment . It is a shame you haven't highlighted any of the things we offer that we felt you really enjoyed during your stay.

Gite propre et avec tout le confort nécessaire. La terrasse et le barbecue sont très appréciables, il y a de l'espace pour les enfants a l'extérieur. Les hôtes se sont montrés très sympathiques et disponibles. Il manquerait juste une barrière de sécurité enfants pour l'escalier pour que ce soit parfait.

Superbe accueil

Gentillesse et accueil très sympathique de Chris et Clare. Très attentifs à notre bien-être. Propreté et très bon confort. Maison douillette et bien équipée pour passer plusieurs jours en famille, même en automne.
