Good base for exploring the city centre on foot
8 of us stayed for 2 nights and there was enough space - it would be a tight squeeze for 10 (not enough sofa space!) and definitely not big enough for 12. We had everything we needed in the house, and were able to walk to the bistros in Brindley Place and into the city centre shops.
The location was great - easy to get public transport or walk etc - but the area felt a little unsafe (though we had no major issues).
Overall we had a lovely stay.

I will say there was something positive about this rental, it was as clean as it could be and the host responded quickly to questions. But, we were so disappointed the minute we pulled up, the photos do not show the true picture of this house. It was run down, mold in the bathrooms, everything was old, dated and beat up.(walls, floors and ceilings) the couch was re-covered covered in some kind of plastic faux leather and it was uncomfortable to sit on. The furniture was not like the photos, beds were all very uncomfortable. The exterior was in rough shape and the house was in a bit of a questionable neighbourhood so did not feel overly safe plus there was noise at all hours of the night from outside. I would not have stayed if we had another choice.
