Hot tub for 6 (private). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Enjoy the luxury of The Seaview Snug a bespoke pod which just oozes quality and comfort for a truly special romantic get away. With floor to ceiling windows The Seaview Snug has the most stunning views of Wigtown Bay where you can sit and relax, be it inside or out on the secluded and private patio with your very own hot tub. Any time of year will be special at none more so in the evening while you watch the sun setting over the bay. Situated quietly on a working farm and offering a luxurious getaway from the large open plan living/dining/kitchen featuring all modern appliances to the bedroom with sumptuous bed and luxury en-suite shower room. The area surrounding is breathtaking from the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches and inland the Galloway Forest Park, Britian’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty and where you will find the world renowned 7Stanes Mountain Bike Trail at Kirroughtree.
A short 5-minute drive from The Seaview Snug will take you to the Isle of Whithorn an attractive little harbour village where you can sail, fish or just sit and relax overlooking the bay while perhaps enjoying a meal or glass of wine in the pub or tea room. Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book Town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven. The larger town of Newton Stewart, known as the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, also has many excellent shops and places to eat. Further along the coast visit the many pretty little ports like Sandhead and Portpatrick, or visit Scotland’s most southerly point, the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve, where thousands of seabird’s nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. Return to The Seaview Snug and relax in the hot tub where you can marvel at the dark starry skies. Beach 3 miles.
