Why they chose this property
I bought this flat over 20 years ago when I first met my partner who lived in Kirkcudbright. I bought it to live in myself, but have never needed to. I started to host AirBnb and VRBO in June 2022, after very extensive renovations. There is a dedicated area to park bicycles safely in the lobby.
What makes this property unique
The Living Room looks out over the Harbour to the North, and over to the Churchyard to the south, and is literally steps away from Butchers, Bakers, Cafes, Restaurants, Museums, Art Galleries, Designer clothes shops, Book shop. The Moat Brae across the road offers a lovely outdoor space underneath the Rookery trees, looking out over the river and harbour. Kirkcudbright is always a very active town, with Art Tours, A Cookery School, a Gin Distillery, a Planetarium, a Tattoo, Summer festivities, Arts & Crafts Trail, Jazz parade, Cycling events, Marathon running, and more. Kirkcudbright is a great centre for walking, cycling, wildlife, historic sites and touring.
