Aptly named Riverside Cottage is located opposite the River Chet with open views across the marshland yet within easy walking distance of the amenities offered in the town of Loddon. Comfortably furnished and styled for family enjoyment, there is a living area with a wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms, a kingsize and a twin on the first floor, and a double bedroom on the ground floor. A bathroom completes the picture. There is an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture. Formerly, the waterways were home to a fleet of wherries that transported various commodities along the navigable section of the River Chet. Today, the pace of life is much more relaxed with a few boats, swans and ducks. Nestled at end of long drive and neighbouring the owner’s boatyard with boat moorings. Great walking, cycling and bird watching are available from the doorstep, and fishing is available in the river (by licence).

The market town of Beccles, 7 miles, for shops, market days, cafés, supermarkets, restaurants, daily boat hire and river trips.
