The road inside the property that leads to the house is uphill , like many of the roads that climb the hills of Liguria, region also known as "Vertical Landscape", and for this famous for the sea views that take your breath away.

Close to beaches and to 5 Terre, Portovenere easy daily trip to Lucca, Pisa and Portofino, Carrara marble quarries...
Ancient paths descends to San Terenzo, to the Venere Azzurra beach and to Lerici, while bus services are useful to come back home.
The road connecting the villages is perfect for running in the tree shadow and mountainbike trail are all around. From Lerici peer easy ferry boat connections to 5 Terre by and Portovenere, or by car (45 minutes to Riomaggiore) or by train from La Spezia Station (10 minutes La Spezia- Riomaggiore then Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso). On the east side f the gulf: the village of Tellaro and the beaches of Baia Blu, Venere Azzurra and Fiasherino, the lost village of Montemarcello, Bocca di Magra and the medieval city of Sarzana.
