Luxury Lodge on quiet holiday park



Luxurious lodge with mains gas central heating comprising an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. Large 6 seater table, sideboard with DAB/Bluetooth/CD player with various books (fiction and local interest) and CDs. Lounge with 2 recliner settees, wall mounted smart TV, DVD player and DVDs, coffee table, electric fire with flame effect . Fully stocked kitchen with American style fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, wall mounted oven and grill, microwave. The lounge and dining room look out onto a south facing verandah with chairs and corner suite with table and umbrella.

There are 3 bedrooms, one en suite with a double bed. The other two contain two singles. Each bedroom has wardrobes, bedside tables and remote control TVs. There is a separate family bathroom. A high chair and travel cot can be provided for an extra charge.

The lodge is situated on a quiet part of a mainly owner occupied holiday park, with inside and outside swimming pools, fitness centre, shop, restaurant and bar (all seasonal, local fee payable). It is only a short walk to the banks of the River Waveney, where you can see across to Breydon Water and the River Yare.

The location was close to everything, from Burgh Castle, grocery store, pub and of course the beach at Great Yarmouth. We were also about ten minutes from some of our family that we were visiting.

Beautiful Lodge home from home

Amazing accommodation with all the home comforts and everything needed for a great stay. Good communication from Peter & Robbie prior to our stay and contact number given should we have any problems but glad to say it was not needed. Nice indoor Swimming Pool on the holiday park and an outdoor swimming pool on the other park across the road along with a restaurant and show bar if you want it. You will need to buy park passes for these facilities. My granddaughter aged 11 loved it!! We loved being on the quieter park an the Lodge is in a good position for the sun too. Thank you so much and we hope we can return soon 😊

Absolutely perfect

From start to finish the experience with Peter and Robbie was fantastic. Everything was exactly as described and the contact regarding information relevant to our stay was very helpful. The lodge itself was so well equipped to cater for all of our family's needs as well as being very spacious... it felt like a home from home and could have easily spent more than a week there! The site is quite nice especially for a family break, we made good use of the swimming pools and the clubhouse during our stay. The lodge is also ideally located right in the middle of pretty much anywhere you would want to visit in the area. In short.... Would 100% recommend Peter and Robbie"s lodge to anyone looking to stay in this beautiful part of the UK. Will definitely be returning next year!

Fabulous lodge in a great holiday park

The lodge is really great - much better than any static caravan we have stayed in before. Lots of space, very well equipped, tastefully furnished and everything put together well. The washing machine was very handy to have, and having two complete bathrooms is great. Lots of little extras such as parasol and reclining chairs. It was lovely to relax on the deck in the sunshine, and the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful.The park is very good, with lots of activities. The indoor pool is good but would have been even better if it had a slide. People who book caravans via the park can pre-book activites before they arrive, but if you book with the owner (such as via VRBO), you can only book activities once you have arrived on site. You have to buy an entertainment pass at the park reception, in order to use any of the facilities such as pool or entertainment venue. This was not a big problem but it's important to understand that. By the time we arrived, all the bookable slots in the pool had been taken. Despite this, we were able to go swimming every day, by choosing one of the afternoon sessions and just turning up. On very busy weeks this might require getting in the queue 15 minutes ahead, or more.The entertainment and bar complex were good on the one night we went there. Our 9 year old granddaughter enjoyed the party dances organised by the entertainment staff. We also enjoyed the mini-golf on site.The host was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

We live in Norfolk, UK, with our ducks, chickens and guinea pigs. And the children and grandchildren are all close by as well!

Why they chose this property

This is a great property close to Gorleston-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, but also close to the impressive Roman fort, Breydon Water, and the flood plan of the Rivers Waveney and Yare. Big skies
