Step back in time at this 18th century farm workers cottage, nestled at the bottom of this picture postcard village green in the hamlet of Honeyborough on the outskirts of Neyland. . Ground Floor:
Living room: Freeview TV, Woodburner
Dining room.
Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Separate Toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed
Bathroom 1: Bath With Shower Over Bath, Toilet. LPG central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included. Cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Welcome pack.. Garden with sitting-out-area, garden furniture and BBQ. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Pinch Cottage, originally built in the late 1800’s, has been sympathetically modernised yet retains the delightful charm of an old cottage. Sit back and take in the timeless view of traditional Welsh cottages dotted around the perimeter with a scattering of mature trees across the green. Pinch Cottage provides a peaceful calm bolt hole away from the hubbub of modern living within easy reach of shops, pubs, places to eat, things to do and explore.
Neyland is ideally located to discover the delights of Pembrokeshire and a short walk away from Neyland Marina and the Milford Haven waterway. A great way to discover this stunning part of Pembrokeshire is by hiring some bicycles (available from the marina) and meandering your way along Brunel Trail. This starts in Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, and links the picturesque Neyland Marina with Johnston and Haverfordwest. You will pass through Pill Nature Reserve, which is teeming with wildlife and offers picture postcard scenery.
This charming cottage is ideal for couples and small families alike, and offers a spacious well-equipped kitchen with separate dining room for formal dining or celebrating that special meal. The cosy living room complete with a focal wood burner, is perfect for relaxing in front of with a glass of wine after a busy day exploring, or enjoy a barbecue and dine alfresco in the private, secure, pet friendly garden to the rear of the property. Alternatively you may fancy a short stroll to the village pub, a traditional Welsh pub and restaurant, to enjoy home cooked food and local ales.
A 5-minute drive away is Pembroke, birthplace of King Henry VII, with its historic Norman castle complete with gift shop and café overlooking magnificent grounds. South Pembrokeshire Golf Club is also close by, where you can take in fantastic views and enjoy a round of golf. The Haven Waterway offers a host of activities including canoeing, sailing and fishing. Also within a 15-minute drive is a wide range of beaches, from Barafundle Beach to Broad Haven South and Fresh Water East. Visit the pretty, coastal walled town of Tenby with its award-winning beaches, many cafés and restaurants, and daily boat trips to Caldey Island.
