There’s free parking outside, with so much to enjoy inside. Not least a sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating for all guests, plus a great view of the private garden through the patio doors.

The separate kitchen features all you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay, on those occasions you choose not to eat out. There’s a Nespresso coffee machine too, so first one awake every morning can get that delicious aroma in the air! A serving hatch connects the kitchen to the dining area, so whatever culinary delights you create can be easily enjoyed at the dining table which comfortably seats 4.

The cottage is ideal for two couples or a small family looking to get away from it all. There is a double bedroom and a kingsize bedroom both with wonderfully comfortable mattresses with quality bedding.

The bathroom offers up a great place to freshen up after a busy day of exploring the South Downs, or maybe preparing for a day at the beach. Choose between a long and lazy bath or a short, refreshing shower. The suite is modern and bright, and there’s a sky light that lets natural light into the room.

The Neighborhood:
The cottage is located in the heart of the South Downs, so don’t forget your walking boots and get ready to enjoy some amazing views and peaceful countryside. The location also has the added bonus of being close to Chichester city centre to the south. Here you’ll find shops, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, a theatre, a cathedral, and plenty of other entertainment. And a little further away are beaches at West Wittering, Selsey and Bracklesham Bay.

Countryside. City. Seaside. All within easy reach. That’s three great reasons to escape to the Acer Cottage retreat. And lovely country pubs within easy walking distance too. Race fans are also spoilt for choice as there are two racecourses nearby— Goodwood and Fontwell. The Goodwood race circuit, home of the annual Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival is also nearby.

Getting Around:
Driving here is the best option as there’s easy parking outside the cottage. Once you’re here you can get around on foot or use your bikes if you’re bringing them. You can also use taxi services. The railway station in Chichester isn’t too far away and it’s from there that you can catch train services up to London and to other destinations in southern England including Brighton, Portsmouth, Southampton, and Worthing.
