Be sure to say hello to the mini donkeys and goats on the property (five baby goats were just born in October - what a sight to see!) It is only a 30 minute drive into downtown Nashville and offers a perfect retreat for musicians looking for some peace, just outside of Music City USA. You can enjoy a camp fire in the backyard fire pit or take a nap on the covered front porch on the suspended bed swing while listening to the birds in the surrounding stately maple trees. When you are feeling brave, you can explore the historic cemetery on the property, featuring a revolutionary war veteran who was likely granted this land as a payment for his service. Or, imagine the history of the valley which is a stone’s throw away from the Civil War battle site for the city of Franklin.
The Cozy Cottage is a ranch style home that has been renovated and completely updated. An open concept kitchen blends seamlessly into a hearth room which contains a sleeper sofa to allow for larger parties in front of a stylish ship-lapped fireplace. The dining room contains a large table to accommodate your party or you can or enjoy a snack at the kitchen island which was built from an elm tree that was harvested on the property. The little touches abound in this wonderfully decorated home. The three bedrooms allow you to have a large group or family stay in comfort. The cottage offers plenty of space, but still feels very cozy.
