Stylish seaside bolthole

We had a fabulous four days in Deal in this very considered home. Generous living area, comfy beds and ingeniously designed kitchen. Plenty of style inspiration!

Ideally located

Excellent location from main street shops, places to eat and drink and the beach. Quiet. Very steep staircase, shame no downstairs WC. Simply furnished but had all that we needed. Some people might not like the shabby chic interior. Could do with a towel rail in the shower room and a table in attic bedroom to place makeup etc. Light switches take a bit of getting use to.

A gorgeous cottage in a great location. A few points to note: More hooks for drying bathroom towels would be helpful. There were crumbs all over the blue cushions in the kitchen.

A steal in Deal!

We absolutely loved the cottage and our stay in Deal! The location is superb with everything nearby but remains very quiet and peaceful. We loved going out in the morning to see the sunrise - it’s minute away so you can walk even in your pyjamas The place itself is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. There is plenty of nice chillout spaces for a cuppa or a cheeky beer or cocktail. We really enjoyed the open plan kitchen and cooking a few times as there are plenty of local deli shops, fish monger and crazy good butcher just 30s away. Despite no dedicated parking you can nicely unpack and then drop the car in a nearby car park or for free just a few mins away. Dog friendly as well which is another great wood! Recommend!

Beautiful homely cottage

Nearly everything was perfect. But the kitchen equipment needs a major overhaul in terms of utensils and equipment etc. only half the saucepans had lids. No utensils to stir large dishes. One of the salad servers was broken. No serving spoons, no oven cloth, dirty chopping board. There needs to be instruction on turning heating on. All this is easy to remedy so hopefully it can be perfect in future. Thank you.

Cute and relaxing cottage embedded in a quiet charment town with everything within walking distance

The location of the cottage, in the historic centre of Deal is fantastic. The shops and restaurants are a short walk away. On the other hand you can find the sea and the beach around the corner, to start your stroll along the coastline. The street itself is a quiet side street where hardly any car passes through. The cottage itself is very cosy and charmingly decorated with a great sense of aesthetics. The interior is a perfect balance between old existing elements and new design pieces/artworks. The cottage is equipped with all necessities on a small scale. Each room has its own atmosphere, a place where you can relax. The only working point is the light flicker of the smoke detectors. These are so bright that they cause some irritation during the night. But easily solved it seems to me. :-)

Le gîte est très bien, bien entretenu et très calme. Très près de la mer et des restaurants. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous reviendrons.

Lovely stay at Cordyline Cottage

We had a lovely stay at Cordyline cottage with our 3 year old son. The cottage is traditionally small but feels spacious thanks to thoughtful interior and details across the house. Really cost log burner in the front room and airy kitchen with glass door extension to the backyard. Everything was perfect but the early checkout is a downer for any family trip.

Beautifully designed cottage in ideal location.

We had a lovely stay at Cordyline it is a beautifully designed cottage in a super location with easy access of both the beach/pier and many of the shops in Deal. The house is cosy and we enjoyed playing board games by the fire.

Lovely little cottage

Lovely cottage, very clean, but we all found the stairs very steep. Great location for the beach, restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend this property. Excellent communication from Keepers Cottages throughout.

Lovely cottage- ideal location

The cottage is lovely.. very quirky with some lovely features. We were a group of 6 adults so found the lounge furniture a bit limiting.we had to pull a couple of the chairs in from the kitchen, which was fine but they’re not designed to be sat in for long. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a wardrobe. Those are my only negatives.. The Xmas tree in the lounge was fab .. The cottage is perfectly situated , right by the beach and the high street . We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
