About this property

An historic Grade II stone holiday farmhouse dating from the 17th century

Lletty is one of 10 self-catering cottages on The Bodnant Estate, a strikingly beautiful agricultural estate in North Wales. Set in hilly and wooded countryside in the lower reaches of the Conwy Valley, it commands spectacular views across to Snowdonia. Stone cottages and farm buildings have been restored using traditional materials and techniques, and the Estate supports farming and encourages other rural activities. Various houses and cottages in scenic positions on the Estate are available for rent as holiday lets. Come and stay in one of them - and enjoy walking on the many miles of private woodland paths winding through the Estate.

An historic three-storey Grade II stone holiday farmhouse dating from the 17th century, rescued from dereliction and sympathetically restored, leading to an award from the Conwy Civic Society during 2009 for its restoration. Lletty is situated high above the Eglwysbach valley, with fine pastoral views. It has many period features including two vaulted rooms, a two-storey room where the warmth of the animals was used to heat the farmhouse, exposed beams, wooden and slate floors, and a bread oven. A separate annexe provides accommodation for a further two guests.

For larger groups this property is available to book with Lletty and Annexe to accommodate eight guests. There are a number of other properties available to book at the Bodnant Estate; Ty Newydd, sleeping eight guests, Ty Cerrig, sleeping seven guests, sleeping eight guests, Garth Iwrch, sleeping four guests, Bryn Rhydd, sleeping four guests, Tydden Derwen, sleeping five guests, Minafon sleeping two guests, Ty Ucha'r Ffordd, sleeping two guests, Bryn Derw, sleeping 4 guests and Bryn Mawr, sleeping 7 guests.
