THE RED DOOR LODGE-I the World Series of rental homes. It has a large in-ground private, heated,salt water pool (no harsh chemicals!). The adjacent pool house is equipped with all the pool towels you may need, a full kitchen, full size ping-pong table, air hockey table and corn hole. Just outside the pool house you’ll find the built-in fire pit, BBQ grill, a party BBQ grill, and a griddle – all propane is provided… ideal for the best team BBQ pool party around! Team parties are allowed here as long as you alert the “Umps” (property owners) prior to the party. Don’t forget the half-court in the backyard for basketball fans. Included is a starter set with the basics you will need when you arrive, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent , dish soap, sponge, and hand soap. For your team gathering you will be provided with a welcome pack of wood for the fire pit.

Beautiful modern kitchen with all the amenities..The large country-style dining table seats 18 + people easily. 2 large decks overlooking the breathtaking countryside. The first floor has 2 full living rooms with comfortable and plush leather sofas. Large wall-mounted flat screens will have you feeling like you are home. Every TV in this house has a separate Roku remote so everyone can enjoy their favorite shows. The first floor is home to two queen en-suite’s, Plenty of storage space for clothing and baseball gear. The laundry room is located on the first floor along with a full bathroom.

This home has two separate upper floors. The first one (left wing) has 4 bedrooms, all with queen-size beds, wall- mounted TVs and adequate closet space to store all your Cooperstown memorabilia. There is a 1/2 bath in the hallway, accessible to 3 of the rooms. The 4th room is a beautiful en-suite.

The second, (right wing) upstairs has an additional 4 bedrooms. 1 king en-suite. A full bathroom that is shared by the 2 queen bedrooms and 1 king bedroom. With natural lighting, these large bedrooms will make you feel like you’re in a 5-star hotel!

The home has central heat and air conditioning. This home is equipped with 3 on-demand hot water heaters so hot water is not a problem! High-speed wide range WIFI allows everyone to enjoy the Internet and connect with family and friends back home.

The finished lower level or "The Dugout" as the kids call it, scores big-time! It has 2 baseball-themed queen size beds, wall mounted flat-screen TVs, and 3 futons with built in USB charging ports. The finished lower level also has a full bath and plenty of space to play games and relax.

THE RED DOOR LODGE-I is a quick drive to downtown Cooperstown, where you will find great restaurants, shopping, and beautiful Otsego Lake. It’s also only a 2.3-mile drive to the well-known Brewery Ommegang. When you check in we will provide you an in-depth list of activities, restaurants, and other area attractions.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Gather towels and place in organized piles by the door. (pool towels,bath towels /hand towels/wash clothes, kitchen towels, bed lines in each of their own piles)
LEAVE THE COMFORTER ON THE BED. Remove - sheets and all of the pillow cases & place by the front door in its respective pile. The blankets from the futons need to be placed by the front door too. 😊
Wipe down the refrigerator/freezer if you have any spills.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This house is amazing! It was spotless, spacious for 11 families, and a perfect location for Cooperstown fields. It is very close to Dreams. We played at All-Star Village and it was still convenient. The owners' communication was perfect. Responsive and present when needed. I would highly recommend this house. I am hoping to rent it again in the future.

We could not have asked for a better house for this most special time in our children’s lives. The house was absolutely perfect in every way. Clean and simple and big and spacious and extremely comfortable beds. Along with the pool house and bunch of games and the pool, having several refrigerators and outdoor space to hang out, it was absolutely perfect. We will make this a team house for every year our town comes to Cooperstown! Thank you so much Carin and Paul!!!!

Amazing stay for your Team’s Families

We had 8 families from our team stay at this house. The house was perfect in every way! The pool was the biggest attraction for our kids. The garage is converted to a party room and rec room for the kids. The garage doors open to the pool. There is a covered outdoor area where the adults would stay up late together. There is a fire pit. We were able to have the team over for a few meals and the boys were able to swim. The whole house had baseball decor. The basement was perfect for all of the siblings. I’m hoping to stay here again when we come back with my younger son! The owner was very responsive and came over to fix things the same day.

PERFECT! In every way possible, our stay at The Red Door Lodge was just perfect for our group. There was ample, clean, well-appointed common space and the rooms and bathrooms were (mostly) very spacious and clean. The owners have taken great provide in providing a home that adds to the wonderful experience of Cooperstown! The pool, poolhouse, firepit, basketball court and outdoor gathering space was comfortable, spacious and gave our group of 24 more than enough things to do. Dreams Park week

We spent a week at the RED door lodge and it was amazing. The house was absolutely perfect. This place has all the amenities you could ever need. Carin and Paul who hosted us could not have been more accommodating. The outdoor fire pit was an absolute hit with our group, the adults Had a chance to hang out and relax while the kids played ping-pong, basketball and cooled off in the pool. If you’re looking for a place that’s in a great location within a few minutes of downtown and just a short drive to Dreams Park. This is definitely the place for you. I would highly recommend this home and I can assure you that you and your group will not regret it.

Baseball Team Event

We had an amazing stay. We had 6 baseball players that came to a showcase event with their families. The house was spacious, clean, and well stocked for all of our needs. Adults hung out in the kitchen, kids loved the outdoor amenities, and everyone had a place to sleep. We will definitely book again for future events!

Great property - horrible management

I'll start by saying this rental was great because it could accommodate so many people. Also, we couldn't have asked for a better location. It is so close to Dreams Park. As pleased as I was with the rental, I was equally displeased with the property manager. Hurrican Debbie came through the week we were there, and let's just say she took full advantage of the insurance policy I fortunately had the foresight to purchase in advance, so she could use it to pay for renovations and fixes. She listed $1500 in claims on broken things around the house; it was absolutely absurd. PSA to anyone who books here: definitely purchase the insurance policy.

Great stay for a week of baseball

This property was true to the listing. It was large… we had six families staying here very comfortably. The beds were comfortable, linens were good quality and we had everything we needed. Washer/dryer were very handy to have. Great location for travel to/from Dreams Park. The kids in our group loved the pool, ping pong, and air hockey table. Plenty of parking. I would highly recommend this house for a large group.

Perfect house for families ataying during the Dreams Park Tournament. It is 6 minutes from the fields. It has great amenities including a pool. Our families thought staying in this house was the best part of the trip. Highly recommend!

Dream Park stay was dream!

Our 12 year old son played at the Park the last week of August. Our group included up to 16 people. The sleeping arrangements were wonderful for everyone. Our family including 4 grandparents and the first floor bedrooms were perfect for them. They also loved playing cards at the big table at night and we'll have special memories of those nights! Inside the house: clean, kitchen appliances, etc.-excellent, plenty of kitchen, bath and pool towels. Outside: beautiful setting, peaceful, pool and all the outdoor activities keep younger ones busy. We could see the closing ceremony fireworks from the house. The location to the Dream Park was perfect. The owner gave us an alternative route to Park, especially helpful on Opening Day which saved at least 45 min. of waiting in traffic to get into the Park. Location quick and easy for grocery store, restaurants and downtown. We didn't know how to work the TV (Roku) in the house (we're not very tech savvy) and they there within 15 minutes showing us how to run it. Everyone was able to use it once shown. No problems with it. Management was accessible and addressed everything we asked immediately. We rent houses all over the country and this was one of the best experience we've had as far as cleanliness and service. Can't say enough about the house.

Perfect for Fantastic Dreamspark Experience

The owners have thought of everything when it comes to providing what you would need to experience Dreamspark at its fullest. Five minutes from the ballpark, filled with amenities that siblings and adults can enjoy, and more than helpful owners. Could not recommend this more for families wanting to be close to Dreamspark and share a house with other families!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house. They really have thought of everything for traveling Family’s. The location is ideal to Dreams park. To top it off it’s beautifully situated with a cornfield as your backyard. Lovely!!

River Road Villa Is Perfection!

I cannot rave about this property enough and feel so lucky that we booked it last week for our Cooperstown families. When we arrived, the kitchen was decorated with pins, necklaces and left over snacks from the team before us (we tried to do the same with a pin & notes). Linda & Paul were friendly & attentive and helped when we needed garbage emptied & wi-fi reset. The house was made for exactly our group – plenty of room for all to gather for meals, games in the pool room & fires at night. The rooms were clean, spacious and provided a quiet get away when you needed a minute away from the fun chaos of our group. We had our boys/coaches over to swim to escape the barracks and they played basketball with the team in the house next door. We hope to be back in 2 years with our younger son and will do everything we can to book River Road Villa again as it was worth every penny spent – thanks again for a fabulous week!

This is the place it all happens, this is the place the kids don't want to leave. It is set up with your team in mind. A fire pit for the S'mores and share stories over roaring fire. A beautiful deck attached to the home with a BBQ grill, a 36" Griddle for those morning eggs, bacon and sausage, just off the deck is even a party grill that can cook 65 hamburgers or 126 hotdogs at the same time for team party night! Plenty of seating outdoors
for all. Ping Pong anyone?? Play that playoff championship game on the ping pong table in the pool house. An Air Hockey table for the hockey enthusiasts is located in the Pool house as well. A 16' x 32' heated in-ground pool with lounge seating all around for your enjoyment or sit under the pavilion and watch the baseball games on the outdoor TV. If that was not enough send the kids to the yard to play basketball on the basketball court. There is something for everyone. You will not be disappointed.
