Your Caribbean home: stylish space, stunning views

Palmas del Mar is a beautiful resort community, with beaches, restaurants, shops and amazing sports facilities, under an hour's drive from SJU, on the doorstep of the El Yunque rainforest.

Our villa is perfectly located, minutes from the beach, and a short walk or drive from all amenities. The landscaped gardens include one of the resort's nicest pools.

This refurbished 2-floor apartment has fast wifi, modern aircon, 2 private balconies and a stunning roof terrace with views of El Yunque.
The space
The apartment is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a Spanish-style villa, with private external access. It was refurbished completely in August 2021, in a clean, Spanish revivalist design, with all the modern comforts and facilities you'd expect (including 400MBS wifi, and modern air conditioning as well as ceiling fans in every room).

The large reception room offers an elegant sitting area with a large smart TV, huge wood dining table and dedicated workspace. It's adjacent to a brand-new, fully-equipped kitchen including dishwasher.

The stylish downstairs bedroom, with queen-sized bed and comfy linen, looks out over the ponds and palm trees of the landscaped gardens. The twin-room has two large single beds, reading chair and offers views of El Yunque.

The gray-tiled downstairs bathroom is also brand new, with a large shower and ample storage space.

The downstairs balcony terrace has tables, chairs and a hammock.

Upstairs in the "honeymoon suite" there's a large bedroom, with king-sized bed and walk-in closet. Wake up looking out over El Yunque, there's a lovely balcony ideal for breakfast. The brand-new bathroom has a hot-tub / shower.

There's a separate wood-floored study, with comfy lazyboy, work desk and office chair.

The rooftop terrace has a shaded dining table for up to 6 people, grill, recliner with umbrella, and an elevated table with stools, perfect for sipping cocktails looking out over the landscaped gardens. The pergola with its twinkling lights makes the perfect space for a romantic dinner or family meal.

Guest access
Keys in the locked box at the door - code to be provided on day of arrival. Please note that the property is not disabled accessible as it requires going up a set of stairs.

Other things to note

We are a Puerto Rican/British couple who split our time between London, Spain and Puerto Rico and bought this villa in 2021, as we love its location, style and the Palmas del Mar vibe. One day we hope to retire here, but until then we are happy to share it with you!

It's our first time hosting and we are super keen to make sure you have a great time staying with us. Our family lives locally and will be on hand to help with anything during your stay.

If the full villa is not available on the dates you're looking for, it's possible the upstairs or downstairs may be available, since they can be rented separately or together.
